half of it is my open word doc and the other half is just the prompt. I don't know why physically seeing it helps me so much, but I noticed an actual improvement in my writing after I started doing it.
I don't even remember who said it to me, but one of my peer reviewers said that I went on tangents a lot of the time. They said something about trying to keep my goal in mind, which is obvious, but I took it literally and now I split my screen when I write #reflecton1101
honestly, what we've been doing this semester (writing then revising in pieces of specific things) worked for me so well, and I really am going to start working it into the way that I write #reflecton1101
my writing process at the beginning of the semester wasn't really a process at all. I just kind of word vomited, read over it maybe once then called it a day. #reflecton1101
I want more feedback on my rhetorical analysis and whether the information I have on my compositions is actually what I should be putting there. I also just need to rework my introduction. #Project2Workshop
@BluToriee @JordynWaller3 is right except you want to either link it to an anchor, which basically a placement to a different place in your website and can be added easily using the "+", or a "document" which you upload from your computer (you'll use this for your work cited pages
HOW different do my works have to be? because right now I have a mix of movies, anime, and comics. I'm in the process of trying to get an actual novel in there, but I don't know if I'm going to follow through with it. #project2wrapup
There are two different types of people who watch period dramas, those who are picky about the costumes and those who simply enjoy the ambiance of the lavish clothing. Outlander costumes are grab and go with what period the costumes are based off of. #genericevidence1101
dress was also one of the most accurate pieces in the show, using multiple references, so โthe resulting dress was remarkably close to the original"(Edwards). The historical correctness of the costumes is both important for the audienceโs enjoyment and honoring the original story
The most historically accurate costume is Claireโs wedding dress which was based off of a robe de cour, which was a dress worn at court in the 1700s. The Crown is most specific with costume design because it was based off of the life of a real person, Elizabeth II. A wedding
@AllieM1101 this isnt a thesis for a rhetorical analysis. you need to talk about how the movie shows you that goldmill is a caring or influential or whatever person through the things you see or hear during the show. what you currently have isnt defendable and is just an opinion.
specific subject: the shift from a cold colour pallet to a warm colour pallet in captain marvelโs suit
opinion: it shows the complete shift in her character
significance: shows that a person can be emotional and caring while also being powerful
The use of warm vs cold colour pallet in captain marvel shows the shift in her mentality and allegiance, bringing the movie to a close, and that represents the fact that to be strong a person does not also have to be cold and emotionless. #thesisreboot1101
