The arguments about the CCC constitution and structures are hypocritical to the core and I fully agree with the leadership of @nelsonchamisa on this matter - for the following reasons -
1. Never mind the public truth that, to contest elections, CCC had to submit a constitution to ZEC and the constitution was submitted by @JMafume, Ian Makone and Ellen Shiriyedenga- the hypocrisy is that we are all crying that #NOTOED2030 is violating the national constitution, the supreme law of the land, but somehow the same people argue that the CCC constitution was supposed to stop him from hijacking the party using an imposter. Let's stop these lies and work together for common interest. If a constitution can stop ED, then why should @nelsonchamisa do anything about CAB3?
2. If a constitution can do all this that you are saying it should have done for President Nelson Chamisa, why is it not doing it for the people of Zimbabwe. i.e why is the supreme Zimbabwe constitution not stopping #NOTOED2030 from hijacking the whole country this time?
3. You all did not fight in defence of the CCC because you felt it was "Chamisa’s problem". No, it was a violation of the core principles of our constitutional democracy. The parliament passing this Bill and the poor opposition to the Bill is a direct result of Zimbabweans failing and neglecting to defend Nelson Chamisa and the CCC party. It is not Nelson Chamisa who needs CCC, it is the nation that needs multi-party democracy. This was not a matter for Nelson Chamisa alone. We should now learn the lesson of our mistake.
4. We should not accept people in our society who want Nelson Chamisa to fight for them without support. He is our leader but not the Messiah, we ought to support him and fight together. We should never blame him for our own inaction.
5. It is not true that President Nelson Chamisa did nothing about the 2023 election theft and CCC hijack. We all know that -
(a) there was a collective understanding that going to Court would produce the same 2018 Con Court result and therefore futile.
(b) President Nelson Chamisa is still frantically fighting the 2023 fraud. As late as May 2026 he has been in constant consultations and engagements with SADC on this matter. He has written to all SADC heads of state on numerous occasions. Evidence of all this is available.
(c) he dispatched envoys everywhere in SADC and abroad to pursue the matter of the stolen election riding on the SADC SEOM report.
(d) he left the CCC as a sign of discontent with the hijacking of the people's party. i.e he has done and is doing everything a leader should do.
6. What did the other constitutionalists do when the election was stolen and when CCC party was hijacked? What did those in ZANU-PF fighting CAB3 do when this blatant violation happened? What did the war veterans who fought for one man one vote do? What did we do?
7. Where do we even get the moral high-ground to remember that there is a constitution and to demand collective action when at other critical points of blatant constitutional violations we clapped and ululated for the abuser?
8. My point is that we cannot move together on the basis of lies and hypocrisy. We cannot fight CAB3 in isolation to the fraud that took place in 2023 elections. We should reverse that because it was done to enable this new fraud. Why are allowing and choosing frauds?
9. If we want to promote democracy and constitutionalism in our country we cannot be hypocritical and pick and choose moments as we like. We cannot say CAB3 is worse than removing duly elected people’s representatives and denying millions of Zimbabweans a voice in parliament.
10. @nelsonchamisa remains the only genuine uncompromised leader. He has always fought and defended the constitution without picking and choosing moments whether or not they are politically favourable to him. We want genuine constitutionalism. When a violation happens, we should all rise as a nation without choosing.
IT WAS ALL ABOUT ED POWER GAMES…ED worked with Tshabangu to engineer illegal recalls that ultimately handed ZANU-PF a fraudulent two-thirds parliamentary majority, in clear violation of both the law and democratic principles.
Unfortunately, when the recalls began, many failed to recognize that this was part of a long-planned strategy orchestrated by ED. It was never about the claims that the CCC lacked a constitution or formal structures. In Zimbabwe you can not submit party candidates to ZEC without a party constitution. Parliament and Mudenda were in possession of CCC constitution but chose to ignore it on instructions from his Zpf Boss. Those no constitution and nil structures narratives were merely a smokescreen.
Some individuals, driven by their disagreements with Nelson Chamisa, celebrated the recalls, unaware that they were in fact celebrating the erosion of democracy and the weakening of our nation. The foundation for the current constitutional amendment agenda was laid in 2023 through those engineered and unlawful recalls.
However, all is not lost. The real struggle lies ahead. The task before us is to continue fighting for a Citizens' Government—one that reflects the true will and aspirations of the people of Zimbabwe. The future of our country depends on the determination of its citizens to defend voice, agency and fundamental rights .
The argument is not strong because you also know that ZEC had CCC designated signatories and even specimen signatures for all provinces but ZEC allowed double CCC candidates using some unknown signatories. Courts acted confused and allowed clearly fraudulent nominations forms.
We can't defeat ZANU when we try to blame our leader for things brazenly done by the oppressor. Its the job of the oppressor to sow this kind of confusion. We must be wiser.
THE WEDDING THAT REVEALS…
That ‘wedding’ guest list is not merely a list of invitees; it is a roll call of the few who continue to plunder the nation’s wealth and resources for their own benefit. The obscene display of looted wealth stinks to high heaven.
It stands in painful contrast to the widespread poverty endured by us ordinary citizens.:.seen in collapsing healthcare, a struggling education system, eroded savings and pensions, paltry salaries, and decaying infrastructure.
At a time when millions are suffering, such extravagance exposes the deep inequality and moral decay at the heart of our society.
This should serve as a wake-up call for all of us to say: enough is enough. We must stop this nonsense #CAB3 and demand a new leadership with a citizens mandate that serves the all rather than a privileged few. State capture is the worst form of treason! #WeTheCitizens
Dear Citizens
The five points below are very important.
1. We the citizens - the supporters and followers of our leader President @nelsonchamisa are very clear and content with the agenda that was outlined by our leader. There are people who peddle a narrow ZANU-PF factional agenda who want to force our President to participate in their narrow agenda. They are demanding from our leader what they are not demanding from their own leader. Their leader is dead silent. They accept the silence of their leader but demand the speech of our leader.
2. Citizens, these people have gone all out to spread a lot of lies and create stories about our President in order to force him to fight their own narrow agenda. Our leader is clear and firm on our agenda 2026. He is no pushover at all. However, he has always been open to engage in any discussion of national interest to address the governance crisis. It does not start today with CAB3, No
3. While our leader is against CAB3 and has always publicly said NOTO2030, we clearly understand that the problem in this country is not CAB3. The bill is just a sympton of the Crisis of Governance that has destroyed Zimbabwe. The fight against the bill should be approached from this understanding and as part of our broad citizen fight not as the solution. Don't be made to believe that this bill alone will answer our citizen problems. Fighting against the Bill alone without fighting against the broad crisis of governance will not yield anything. Those trying to make you believe that it all starts and ends with CAB3 are crooks. We have been here before. Once bitten twice shy.
4. The stolen 2018 and 2023 elections are the same or worse than CAB3; the removal of duly elected people’s representatives (MPs and Councilors) is same or worse than CAB3; the murder and harassment of innocent citizen movement leaders is same or worse than CAB3; the abuse of civil servants is worse or same with CAB3. The take over of the citizen organisation CCC is a serious bastardization of the constitution. Anyone who wants you to focus on CAB3 only and ignore this is a wolve in a sheepskin. Anyone who wants you to believe that an election date is more important than the actual vote you made in 2023 and will make in 2028 that never counts is a crook. They were there when all this was happening and did not defend the constitution. They never said a word. Some of them participated and are responsible for this bastardization of the same constitution. They are not genuinely interested in the rights and freedoms of the citizens. They just want to take political power to continue oppresing us.
5. Citizens, let's be clear about our problem. Our problem is that we are under an oppressive governance crisis created by ZANU-PF. This crisis used to target only opposition citizens but is now affecting even those who used to be safe in ZANU-PF. That's why our position has always been that the solution to this problem is a political settlement that leads to a comprehensive reform agenda agreed to by all Zimbabweans so that the country can have a genuine fresh start. We should not be forced to ignore the real citizen issues by people who only feel the pain of CAB3. They are only tasting suffering now, we have been suffering ever since, under their watch. They must acknowledge our own suffering and work with us for a genuinely free country for all. We are not going to fight to replace one oppressor with another. That's not our fight, sorry.
Citizens, is this not simple, clear and fair?
Thank you.
@DubekoSibanda@petchaps@nelsonchamisa Everyone is entitled to think at their level. Think what you can, at your level. Don't tell me what you think. Just know when you are done that, that's your level. Just tell me if you feel happy with it.
Dear Citizens
There is a lie that was manufactured by ZANU-PF and its associates among us that has been repeated too many times that it has become true. This lie is that President @nelsonchamisa CCC was hijacked because it did not have structures and a constitution.
This is the most stupid lie anyone can tell. 1. To contest elections in Zimbabwe you deposit a constitution with ZEC and CCC did that on 25 January 2022. 2. The political system in Zimbabwe is such that an organisation needs to designate its leaders and structures for specific functions involving state institutions. CCC had duly qppointed and designated leaders and structures for all purposes.
That argument is peddled by dishonestly dangerous people and believed by extremely ignorant people.. The state through its institutions and apparatus took over the CCC and handed it over to Tshabangu. Thats what happens in an oppression and that's what happened.
A paper called a constitution is not enough to protect you from an oppression. ZANU-PF is an oppression if you didnt know. That is why the constitution cannot stop ZANU-PF from amending it, can't stop ZANU-PF from rigging elections or killing people or harassing women.
If you don't understand this, you may as well believe that these submissions we are writing to parliament will be read by someone and have any influence on the process. That's equally just stupid. An oppression does not work like that. It doesn't care, it uses force.
We have to use appropriate means to fight ZANU-PF. Not just emails. Thats just lazy and enabling the regime. In fact, by that submission you have actually been consulted. ZANU-PF is ticking boxes, it needs proper engagement not emails.
Thank you
@DhadzaN59563@nelsonchamisa There are Zimbabweans every corner of the globe. Did you ask them kuti vakasvika seyi. Mazano marairanwa, bvunza pane kungoshora kuti wasvikireyi ikoko
@tommapako1@TreasureBasopo@nelsonchamisa But you are imposing titles on an organization. Its because we were taught that structure means SG, TG and that can't be correct. Every organisation defines its own structures
@CC78641327@nelsonchamisa How can it be a secret when its deposited with the relevant organs. If you want you can go to ZEC and retieve it. They allow inspection
Our President @nelsonchamisa remains solid, standing and firm. This transition from the past to the new movement is the most important thing to ever happen. There will be no historical entitlements and chinhu chedu. The response from the ground has been incredible. The foundation is very solid.
2. Our concerns about the Constitutional Amendments cannot be addressed by social media posts only. President Chamisa knows that to challenge an oppression you need a solid movement. This is what he is building. Its a real Chapwati by the look of things. A million members before launch target surpassed in a flash.
3. The response from the grassroots has been emphatic. Only President @nelsonchamisa can build such a gigantic political organisation in Zimbabwe. We all rally behind him because we appreciate his value and importance to our cause.
4. The next phase is the programme of action to address the crisis of governance in all its facets including the constitutional amendments. This will be done in a structured, coordinated and organised manner.
5. Efforts by others are noted and appreciated. We are united in spirit but we have our own organization to pursue the broader citizen agenda. Its now a matter of days and weeks not years or months. Watch the space.
We are a massive and serious movement. We plan our agenda, set our goals and stick to the plan. We deal with the amendments in the context of that agenda. We will not have our agenda dictated by other formations which have the right to have their own agenda. We set our own agenda.
While we all agree that the 2030 is nonsense and our President @nelsonchamisa has repeatedly said so, it does not mean we all have the same strategy and approach to it. Some pressure groups exist only for amendments. We are big, we are massive, we are broad and we are serious.
We are not an anti-2030 or pro-2028 group but we are a serious organisation with a plan to take over the governance of the country. We respect every effort towards good governance but we cannot be blackmailed into abandoning our agenda.
This 2030 you see, we stopped it in 2023 when we fought hard and won the elections. ZANU-PF had no 2/3 in 2023 because of @nelsonchamisa. Some of those blackmailing us now handed over this 2030 to Mnangagwa and ZANU-PF.
Please don't abuse us. We fight for change as we have always done based on our strategic plan. Not because of you but even against you. By that I mean we are getting ready to fight both ZANU-PF and its proxies some of them among us masquerading as constitution defenders.
I am one of the seasoned academics fully behind the leadership of President @nelsonchamisa. I have clarity in understanding that in this first half of the year 2026, we are mobilizing and building institutions for our movement as outlined in Agenda 2026. This will give us capacity to achieve our objectives.
My view is that the struggle we have does not start and end with Constitutional amendments. i.e winning the battle against amendments alone will be a small temporary victory that will not help the people of Zimbabwe.
Constitutional amendments are a symptom of the deeper crisis we have always had. A conversation about amendments that does not seek to address the real issues is not worth my sweat.
In President Nelson Chamisa we have a leader with the capacity and following to take over government and govern the country for everyone. We qre guided by this serious and bold ambition. We cannot be reduced to the narrow ambitions of pressure groups. We were here before this Bill. We will be here after defeating it when others disappear.
The Bill is a footnote in our Agenda to defeat and replace oppression. We were not formed for the Bill. We have a history and a future. We should deal with the Bill in this context.
