Alright, finally getting to the media I've finished in 2023!
Our first thing on the list is Mistborn, a book released in 2006, written by Brandon Sanderson. It has a *wonderfully* creative magic system in Allomancy, and I love the cast of characters, from Kelsier to Vin to Ham.
@AikoTanakaKin@gothgirlweed@orgasmoverlord Well yeah, some people think it’s a good argument (and honestly I can see the point they’re making, it’s basically “you’re trying too hard,” whether you think that’s valid or not is your choice). I’m just saying that the first one wasn’t an actual argument.
@DrumstickPony Unfortunately I don't think there's any grounds for a class action. They've got it in their TOS that they have the right to remove your access from their services. Just because they use a faulty AI to do that doesn't mean they're violating the terms of the agreement.
@lanfeardelrey I love that everyone who meets Luffy and enjoys his company also enjoys Buggy’s company. These two were fated to be in a discord friend group and be the only two members who can’t stand each other.
@GrapeLad@KookieKooker It’s more just the fact that they took something that’s been in the series since the beginning and actually used it in a new and interesting way. That being said it does give a nice beat for the song.
@Oilysenpai@senny_mathis That's fair but I honestly found myself just. Completely steamrolling everything two regions in. I finished out Cornia, then did Drakengard, and by the time I *reached* Elfheim I had just. Made a single team that was Alain, Melisandre, and three others and just swept everything.
@Num2MephilesFan@amen_handle Except he. Does. Like yeah some people saw the issues because they weren't affected by specific changes in cognition, but he had Yaldabaoth's power, he just wasn't as experienced with it. There's nothing that says he couldn't do that.
@Fraud_Bucket@senny_mathis At least most of them had stuff to do in each region. The completely optional party members maybe not but the ones that you're guaranteed to get at least get *something* in their home region.
