The EU Kids Act is set to threaten our civil liberties, railroad us into digital mass surveillance, strip parents of their responsibility for parenting their own kids, and make video games illegal. Disturbing! 🤮

Much like how we had a feedback campaign for the Digital Fairness Act, there is now a place for you to give feedback on the EU Kids Act: https://t.co/jayIf8xYSx
- Be polite
- Write in your own words and using your own experiences
- Emphasize how video games shouldn't have draconian age verification, private servers without age verification shouldn't be made illegal, etc.

@nym If EVERYONE has to prove their age by handing over ID to third parties for verification, who may or may not hold the data securely, then we are sleepwalking into digital mass surveillance. Leave parenting to the parents, not the government.

Elternwerkzeuge immer an.
