Al Jazeera condemned the deliberate killing of its journalist Ahmad Washah in Gaza, calling for international action to hold Israeli officials accountable.
Washah, a cameraman for Al Jazeera Mubasher, was killed in an Israeli drone strike on a house in Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. His death marks the 12th Al Jazeera media worker killed since October 2023.
Washah had previously worked with his brother Mohammad, who was also killed in April while reporting for Al Jazeera Mubasher.
According to the Gaza Government Media Office, at least 262 journalists and media workers have been killed since the Israeli genocide began, including several Al Jazeera staff members.
Nine months after the Gaza ceasefire agreement went into effect, Israeli forces have killed around 1,000 Palestinians, including many women and children, and injured more than 20,000 others.
The situation is worsening amid continued US political and military support for Israel.
This comes as President Donald Trump inks new ceasefire agreements involving Iran and Lebanon. Will they remain on paper as well?
"I am for the war crimes. I'm unable to sleep at night if I do not see houses being destroyed in Gaza— I want to see more of them destroyed."
Look at these prime time Israeli Journalists giggle on air.
Trump admits he can stop Israeli attacks on Lebanon (but doesn’t).
Q: Can you prevent Israel's attack on Lebanon?
Trump: Yes, I can. They have a lot of respect for me and act according to my wishes.
The breaching of the MoU is US’ direct responsibility.
In certain environments, Anti-Palestinian Racism appears common, often systemic, and absolutely under-detected.
Thank you ELSC for this effort and let's continue document this appalling phenomenon.
Never Again is not a tribal slogan.
Internal documents reviewed by The Intercept reveal that the Israeli government submitted extensive requests to Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, to remove or restrict content related to the war with Iran, as part of efforts to influence material circulating on social media platforms during the military escalation.
According to the documents, the requests included posts showing sympathy for Iran, support for Iranian strikes, and content criticizing Israel or documenting missile impacts inside its territory, along with materials related to mourning prominent Iranian figures and visual documentation of destruction caused by military operations.
The report stated that Meta complied with a number of these requests in certain cases. The investigation also noted that Israel used similar methods and phrasing in this campaign to those it employed during the war on Gaza.
🚨 Gaza “Ceasefire” Update: 4 Palestinians Killed Wednesday
🔹Two Palestinians were killed and several others wounded Wednesday evening when an Israeli drone struck a group of people on the beach in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, Palestinian Online reported.
🔹 Medical sources identified the two killed as Mohammed Jawda al-Farra and Hussein Mohammed al-Qadra, and said ambulance crews took them and a number of wounded, some in critical condition, to Nasser Hospital.
🔹The strike was one of a series of Israeli violations across Gaza in recent hours that included heavy drone activity, artillery shelling, and gunfire.
🔸Separately, the Israeli military claimed Wednesday it had killed two men it described as Hamas members, naming them as Ahmad Abu Hin and Mahmoud Walid Jabr Abu Hin and alleging they took part in the October 7, 2023, attack. The IDF did not specify where or when the strike took place, provide evidence for its claims, or say whether it was connected to the Mawasi beach killings. Such Israeli statements routinely label those it kills as militants without substantiation, and are often contradicted by Palestinian accounts identifying the dead as civilians.
🔗 Israel has killed over 1000 Palestinians in attacks since the ceasefire took effect in October 2025, repeatedly breaching the truce while seizing more land and steadily expanding its zone of control inside the enclave. This is not because we lack the technical ppl with the right skills and abilities.
- SOEs tasked with such jobs are overrun with political appointments in management layers (who have no clue abt what they are doing) and they are also overrun by politically motivated jobs in the skill layers from those without the skill and vocational expertise (again no clue to whatsoever they are doing).
This is not something which is a hallmark of this administration but it’s seen across all past ones since 2008 & worst of all, it gets worse with each new gov.
This is how we were arrested and stripped of our clothes.
Before I was displaced from northern Gaza, I was detained in the same way shown in this video. That day, I was humiliated and subjected to treatment that I will never forget.
I still remember an Israeli soldier saying to me, “You Palestinians are rats.” Out of fear for my life, I answered him.
That day remains etched in my memory. The humiliation and fear I felt are something I can never forget. 💔
Israeli forces opened fire on a Palestinian child and his father in central Gaza on Sunday before abducting both for several hours. The child was killed in front of his father, who was also shot in the leg.

Israel flattened Beirut in 1982.
No Hamas. No Hezbollah. No October 7 to point to then.
Just 17,000 dead Lebanese and Palestinian civilians.
Even US president then Ronald Reagan, who armed Israel, called Begin furious after seeing a photo of a 7-month-old baby with its arms blown off and said “It is a holocaust”.
They killed so many innocent people that the survivors had no choice but to pick up weapons.
Then Israel had the audacity to keep using “Self-Defense” excuse every decade.
Israel didn’t stumble into endless war. Israel built it. Brick by brick.
Own it.
"Israelis sniped a 4 year old child, and then wait for the grief striken parents to come, and murder them too. They are demonic."

The President of the Palestine Football Association, Jibril Rajoub, says he was denied a US visa despite holding official FIFA accreditation for the 2026 World Cup.
Rajoub, who attended the tournament's opening match in Mexico, described the decision as unfair and politically motivated.
Reports indicate that Somali referee Omar Abdulkadir Artan, members of Iraq's delegation, journalists from several countries, and fans from Scotland, Morocco, and Iran have also faced visa denials, entry refusals, or revoked travel authorizations.
