Russia launches another massive attack on Kyiv with drones, ballistic and cruise missiles June 17, 2025
So far, 16 people have been injured in the capital. The number is growing.

Also, during the attack on Kyiv in the Solomianskyi district, a 62-year-old US citizen died in a house opposite the one where medics were helping the wounded.

Every life taken by a Russian attack is a deep, unimaginable pain for those who loved them.

Today, Russia once again targeted Ukrainian civilians, striking a street in Kryvyi Rih. At least 16 people were killed, including six children, and over 50 were injured.

No one should have to endure such suffering and loss. Russia must be stopped and forced into a lasting peace.

The only way for Ukraine to make it is to be talked about in pop culture. We don’t have billions in propaganda budget unlike russia, to spread our culture and stay relevant while we are fighting to survive.

Most of you have heard about Tchaikovski and “the great russian culture”, though most of you can’t think of a single melody he composed. The most popular Christmas carol around the world was written by a Ukrainian — Mykola Leontovych. Most of you can hum it in your sleep, though almost none of you know his name of the real name of the Carol of the Bells — Shchedryk.

@LindseyStirling and Emilio had a perfect opportunity to change that. Yet they missed it. Please tag them in this post. Their platform is massive and can make a difference.

I also implore them to consider donating earnings from the millions of views on their videos to @U24_gov_ua or any reputable Ukrainian (not foreign, on the ground Ukrainian) charity to help us continue to exist.

After speaking to hundreds of people in the streets of Kyiv today, most Ukrainians are completely defiant. “We will fight with or without America” - and that ok now it’s “time to work with Republicans and keep going forward”

Ukrainians have been fighting for their independence and freedom for well before this election and well before 2022. They keep moving. 🫡
