@PrideOfDetroit Feels like a difficult spot to be picking behind the Ravens and Buccaneers. They probably like similar players than the Lions #OnePride
@StBrownPodcast@amonra_stbrown I'm sure you've gotten a million of these, but my 9-year old, Addy, was finally able to do your headstand celly! You're her favorite Lion and she's wearing your jersey under the hoodie. How's her form? #LionsFanInCO#SaintCelly#OnePride
@HarrisFootball This is why I've been listening to Chris for 20 years, and have lots of success. Player evaluation that comes from the eyes, not the ears. I got Herbert at pick #102 this year, so far so good π
@PrideOfDetroit I've seen a lot of pop culture using the word "grit" in the last couple years. As a Lions fan I remember Holmes & DC using it from the beginning, and I hadn't seen it used before. Did they start the entire grit trend? It feels like they did, and now everyone's copying them.
@PrideOfDetroit Two things: 1. Feels like #Lions are drafting more for need this year. 2. I don't mind Brad moving up, but I don't like trading away future picks
@PrideOfDetroit Rewatched Inside the Den draft episodes, and it feels like they target specific players for each pick. Do you think they are that focused on players they like? It wouldn't surprise me b/c they seem strict on character, in the way of grit, love of football & leadership
@PrideOfDetroit Could the draft class of 2023 be affecting the roster decisions this year? That's a lot of money for the future. I hope they can stagger contracts, so we don't lose any of them.
@AtoZ_Payton It seems Carlton was 1A, and Reed was 1B. Holmes showed that was important, day one business. Now he's showing patience, so we can assume there's less important FA options.
@PrideOfDetroit Do you think the Lions want a larger sized DE opposite Hutch, or are they open to smaller sized rushers? 2nd part: Could you categorize some of the top edge players that could be available for Lions at 28?
@PrideOfDetroit I don't agree with Super Bowl windows, but there should be QB windows. If the Lions have one, it's maybe about 6 years since Goff is now 30. Whenever he retires, the Lions will need a good replacement, or the SB chances drop significantly. Would you agree QB windows exist?
