@TheVenks On a more serious note, there seems to be less understanding of the economic spin-offs from a white collar job vs a blue-collar factory job. The latter gets to boast of large numbers, so that also works in its favour.

But, both are equally necessary...

@TheVenks While you're right in terms of questioning the underlying data, some fire is needed to get our leaders to take some initiative. Consistently underwhelming leadership over decades has squandered our advantages forcing many like me to become economic migrants. I've lost patience.

@bhatnaturally It's a form of colonialism. EU/US citizens' sleep shouldn't get impacted, ours can. It's our fault - we can pass a similar law as well. I hope we do.

@VinojBJP @TVKVijayHQ Here's a request for you, @VinojBJP avl - could you pls ask the central govt/@MoCA_India to improve the *existing* airport in the meantime - the maintenance is terrible, toilets smelly, cab pickup is chaotic. Surely these are fixable?

@indhavaainko I was in Kumbakonam last week, it looked similar to this imagined pic. Sad state of affairs - we are unable to take care of our heritage cities with the care and respect they deserve.
