@fesshole Depends on the place. I used to work at Maplin and the whole place was super anal. If the system said it wasn't in the warehouse, then it wasn't in the warehouse. I'd still go and look, but I can understand the perspective of the fesser.
@do33o@fesshole Fess doesn't state he looks better. Perhaps that's why they've been warned not to mention it. Nothing wrong with being bald, having hair doesn't necessarily make you look better. Patrick Stewart looks odd with hair, but great bald.
@girlracer68@fesshole I moved to Bristol from South London and have a far more Bristolian accent than South London now. I was in a job dealing with lots of customers and it made for less repetition if I changed my accent in that direction. It stuck eventually.
@sargo_dy@chloepomfret_ Have you ever heard anyone say they won a job after having an interview? It's not really any different. It is completely different to a sporting setting though.
@sargo_dy@chloepomfret_ Would you say you won a interview? A sport has rules, as such there is a winner and loser, according to those rules. Getting a job, or getting into uni, is a different thing entirely.
@fesshole I'm old enough to remember when the bank paid you, rather than charging fees on everything. Fifty quid after ten electronic transactions is closer to £25, if that, if it's a note it'll still be 50 for whoever currently holds it. Why let the bank nibble away at your profit?
@AndyB7777@fesshole A note is what it says on the front, it's a promise to pay the bearer the full sum on the note. So that fifty is fifty quid when I have it, then I give it to you and it's still fifty, even when you've passed it on to someone else, it'll still be worth fifty quid.
@tonybainbridge1@fesshole Money is money, and said barber shops are frequently a front for organised crime and money laundering. Any business with little stock and a large footfall will be a beacon for the inland revenue for exactly that reason. Cash only, just increases the likelihood.
@GeraldineHocki3@I_amMukhtar@Newsdog222_ Let's protect people who aren't criminals, and punish those who are. Why does colour, race and religion need to come into it? If you strike an officer you're not getting away with it but you don't go to prison the day after committing an offence. Engage your brain before speaking
@OfficialYJM Music, like skating, is art. It's yours, you can do it any way you want. Other people don't have to like it, or understand it. You just enjoy making your art for your own reasons. Competition, lists, tables, scores, rules, those are all anathema to art and the artistic process.
@MsSandyCrack @guy_mont @ThreeNewZealand So wonderfully stupid! So mortifying, devastating and frustrating for the contestants too. Guy is now the face of the devil on my shoulder!
@DaveIsreal4@mart_brooks@DreyfusJames Given anyone can legally carry a 3" slip joint fold up knife, that's quite the assumption. I routinely leave the house with a foot long kukri and bow saw. I'm not planning on murdering someone and sawing them up though. I just use them on trees.
@Pete_Concept@fesshole I'd expect him to bring the spoon if I'm bringing the egg. He can piss right off if he wants me to do all the work and then he expect half of my egg!
@BurchellMelesia Corporate chokehold, nor does he have any desire in returning power, autonomy and money to the people. He's certainly not a socialist, but he doesn't even represent core Labour values. And he's a soulless toad for his complicity in the abuses of the SDS.
@BurchellMelesia Former in house legal counsel for the SDS. I already knew he wasn't a nice bloke. Backstabbing Corbyn just revealed it to the socialists, and he's now outed himself to the rest of the country. Personal agenda, crack down on free speech and protest, and no loosening of the 1/2.
