@countyscarf Utter nonsense, he's a great manager.
We're the 11th best supported team in the division.
4th or 5th best funded and you want to sack him for being 7th after 4 fantastic seasons.
Have a word with yourselves!
Be patient and we will come good again soon. ๐ตโช
@_SByrne Sad to hear this news.
Phil wasn't someone I really knew personally but such a loyal county fan that you would see at every away game.
We'd just exchange a nod or a hello, but he was one of those people that made you feel like you belonged to something special. RIP Phil.
@chris_eaton_@Char1ieJackson I totally agree.
I hope sometime soon enough time will have passed for the club to feel he can be recognized further
Without Jim the club wouldn't have been in a position for Mark Stott to have taken over.
We are living the dream currently but shouldn't forget how we got here.
@jackbyrne91 @Padders_22 @ESPNcricinfo Don't forget the batting.
Collapses in every innings
Throwing bat at everything 1st two tests.
Only one ton in 3 tests.
No plan b with only alternative a guy with minimal experience/ runs.
Aussies have been clinical but England have played way, way below ability.
@TheBarmyArmy Disappointed but not surprised.
We've no spinner worth picking.
No plan B to replace struggling Pope.
Loyalty sounds great but 3 years into McCullum era, we've no options in so many areas.
Let's hope we can find a way. Wish I felt confident.
