@LissaKEvans The Worst Class in the World (series) by the fabulous Jo Nadin, illustrated by the equally fabulous Rikin Parekh - laugh out loud funny, loved by my class!
@PaulBushen @ShakinthatChalk My daughter quit her PGCE for this very reason. The schools she was at were great, and behaviour was tackled, but being unable to deliver planned lessons was soul destroying.
@DrJaninaRamirez I just wanted to say how much my class are enjoying Riddle of the Runes right now - totally gripped and begging for the next chapter! Thank you for writing such a great story.
@DeputyGrocott Try being a Siân in 1970s Essex…with a brother called Seán. I was lucky if they realised I was a girl. My eldest likes to say she went to uni in Ireland so that people would spell/pronounce her name correctly 🤦♀️
@MRMICT I watched Star Wars at the cinema with my dad - after queuing round the block to get in. For several weeks I was the coolest kid in school. I was 7. Just don't crush them with the prequels.
@lifeatthenest@_MissieBee@TeacherTapp Being able to go home for PPA has been the biggest boost to my work/life balance and my productivity. There’s no ‘spare’ room in school so you always had to find a space to work, you got drawn into things etc.
@Rachel97687043 @Positivteacha My husband did the same 15 years ago. I wish he’d been more open about his feelings and got the help he desperately needed. My girls were still in primary school. No, life won’t be the same - but it will be ok. Much love to you both ❤️
@itspeterbrown I'm reading The Wild Robot with my year 3/4 class at the moment - they are absolutely loving it! Thank you for writing such a great book.
@MartinSLewis When my husband died suddenly our children were still in primary school. The funeral director gently guided me into making savings/sensible choices around the funeral and told me which benefits I could claim - a massive help when suffering widow-brain.
