@MrsGoffinSJA @ScarthoJ @MissFawnSJA@MrGraves6G@pjmort777 Jealous!! Sounds like a perfect morning to get the brain juices flowing and in a great mood - breakfast and Sharon’s clubbercise class!
Asked my son how dressing up in pyjamas helped celebrate WBD - he had no idea. I then asked how reading had been celebrated at school - he told me there was an online assembly they watched. Did they read and immerse themselves in books? No. Missed the point.

The effort The St Mary's Catholic Primary School children have put into these parcels is just wonderful. They have been working hard fundraising and putting together care packages since May. Well done and thank you to all the children, teachers and parents involved 🎁🤝⭐️
@LeaderPrimary I am a RQT and now history subject lead. Feeling very lost with where to begin, hoping for some advice, direction to websites to use and any tips from experienced history leads. Thanks in advance for any support.
@AshCOYS@MrTs_NQTs It is exhausting and it’s my NQT year so new to it all! My class next year are better but still have their challenges, the school is in a deprived area so high rates of PP, SEN and generally poor behaviour. But I love my job, the positives out way the negatives for sure ☺️🤪
@AshCOYS@MrTs_NQTs I’d be lying if I said no cos it’s so draining and the rest of the class has suffered academically, but I will miss them so much, you do become protective about them, even the challenging ones. It would be nice to not feel on high alert all the time and actually think straight
@AshCOYS@MrTs_NQTs Definitely be firm and have clear boundaries, stick to them and use rewards/praise as much as possible, my class have responded well to that. But also understanding why they behave is key,so possibly preventing the behaviour if possible. Oh and ask for support as much as possible
