Sacked S4C boss Sian Doyle said in a statement:

"Sadly, I believe that being a woman has been a significant factor; the job of a female CEO in this organisation has proved difficult at best and downright demoralising at worst, and I have been prevented from delivering the necessary programme of transformation."

I have been sent over a dozen messages from both current and former S4C staff about the culture there.

Many are quite contradictory about where the issues are.
