They use “faster payment” option as you can’t open a dispute via your bank when using this payment method. We paid £100 for this fire to be returned safely. They are now offering us a “goodwill” gesture of £600!

@WestCFires shocking company. Returned an unopened fireplace costing £1175 to the company who are now refusing to refund our money stating that the fire is damaged and the box is damaged (due to the box being taped for transit!) Apparently no complaints Dept. Beware!

[Sian Beynon @Siany1183]

@WestCFires absolutely appalled by your customer care. Ordered a fire from you at a cost of £1175. It arrived, we did not remove it from its packaging at any point. And now you are refusing to give my full refund as it has returned “damaged”, offering £600 as a “goodwill” gesture

@CarwynTempleton @davidflatman @matty_prior I need this!!!

[Sian Beynon @Siany1183]

@JurysInnsHotels we’ve been at the Birmingham hotel for almost 4 hours, still no cot in the room as requested, with an 8 month old. The “superior” room isn’t fit for purpose but they won’t move us. No room for a cot next to the bed even. Very poor and not what we expected.

@screenwithenvy @screenwithenvy I ordered my radiator cover on 16/02/2022 and still no sign of delivery and no definite delivery date. It’s crazy! I have sent several emails asking when I’ll receive it and yet still no date. Can someone please help?!

My blog this week (published later today) is on the power and importance of thanking people

For the below story, I want to once again thank our police staff (unsung heroes, all), police officers (front line, in particular), and volunteers for their work https://t.co/xtYIWHNtSN

The gig that defined an era. The 2 days in Aug 96, remembered forever by 250k Oasis fans as 1 of the greatest rock‘n’roll events to ever take place on British soil.
The feature length Knebworth concert documentary, directed by Jake Scott, is released later this year. #Knebworth25

[Is there a patrol available?..... @NorthWestCop]

Just left Tesco. Handwritten note on the windscreen of my patrol car. '£100 fine for shopping on duty'. If only I could tell the person who wrote it that I have just spent the last 7 hours at the sudden death of a baby. I'd bought a sandwich. We're not robots. #BeKind #WoundUp
