Thank you to everyone who’s helped me and been along for this journey. With that being said I’d like to announce I will be committing to Trinity Valley Community College @THEVALLEYMBB
Fresh off competing at the P32 JUCO Showcase, 6’3” guard Sibu Socks talks about making the jump from high school basketball at Coppell High School, a Revo-powered program, to the college level.
From embracing the physicality and high-level competition to taking pride in being a relentless defender willing to guard anybody, Socks breaks down the mindset that fuels his game.
“You’ve got to want to beat your man… you’ve got to take pride in stopping them.”
Now headed to Trinity Valley, Sibu shares what’s ahead and the work ethic he’s bringing into the next chapter.

6A D1 BI-DISTRICT PLAYOFFS: @PlanoEastHoops vs @coppellhoops, 7:30pm Monday at Carrollton Creekview
Quite the first-round matchup as both Plano East and Coppell finished top two in their respective districts. Cowboys riding a 6-game win streak, Panthers won 9 of their last 10.
WOW! Absolutely wild finish. Braswell tries to drain the clock and get the last shot but turn the ball over, Jackson sends the outlet up to Griffith who finishes it at the buzzer. @coppellhoops gets the comeback win, 53-51.
