Week 0 is here!
Had a blast diving into the first DFS Saturday Main Slate of the 2026 season. Nothing quite like getting that first article of the year out.
College football is back. Let’s have a year! 🔥
One of the reasons I love playing CFF on @Fantrax is the ability to get creative with league formats.
Two of my favorite leagues this year are completely different from a normal CFF league, and honestly, I’m not sure we could pull either of them off on another platform.
🧵👇
CFB Week 0 is here and so is @CFFguys first #DraftKings Main Slate article for the 2026 season!
🎯 JAYDEN MAIAVA, USC VS SAN JOSE ST (DK: $9.0K | FD: $11.8K | O/U: 60.5 | IMPLIED: 49.5)
“Jayden Maiava is coming off a career season in which he threw for 3,711 yards and 24 touchdowns, and another big year could push him up NFL Draft boards. He leads the slate with a 26.1-point projection, while USC’s 49.5-point implied total is also the highest on the slate. San Jose State ranks last among the 14 defenses in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks, giving Maiava an excellent matchup. The concern is his $9,000 salary combined with significant blowout potential, which could limit his fourth-quarter opportunities. Still, USC’s massive scoring expectation and the matchup give Maiava one of the strongest projections on the slate.”

It’s week 0 of the college football season, you’ve tinkered with your newly drafted lineup and there shouldn’t be a need to stream a position on your roster.
But I need to sharpen my knife and by knife I mean this 17.5” x 6” US standard keyboard and wireless mouse.
The week one edge is here with the early Stream Team. Four players plus a team DST. Power Conference Friendly.
Craig Stutzmann’s offence has produced two top-five CFF WRs over the last two seasons... we enter 2026 with no clue who the next alpha will be. #SJSU#SanJoseStateSpartans

I am humbled by this post and cannot thank @Mr_MitchellLee enough for his kind words🙏
It can be challenging for us in the CFF/CFB Props space to gain traction in the shadow of the leviathan that is the NFL
Spotlighting emerging creators/evaluators like Mitch and @trillymoneyline is essential to growing the hobby we all love so much
It's an honor to be able to help in any small way. Thank you, keep up the great work...and Play College Fantasy Football in 2026!
It’s CFB Eve and I want to ask you all to join me in celebrating a treasure of the CFB community: The Eric Froton @CFFroton
He’s at 9,900+ followers, let’s ❤️🔄 & help get him to 10k by 2026 CFB Kickoff!!
Most of you probably already know or know of Froton, but I want to tell a couple stories about him. Full disclosure, I’ve never met Eric and we’ve never talked on the phone
Froton is college football savant, follows and works it year round. He goes to at least 1 game per week, does videos, Spaces, live sideline reporting, hypes up the fans, writeups, attends tailgates weekly, knows the injuries, their replacements, the rotation changes, and works for a lot of big media companies covering the sport. He’s also a huge advocate for growing college fantasy football. Perhaps the most impressive thing to me, and this will come full circle later in this post, is his passion and support for the little guy; he covers the average teams, the lesser known players, and the afterthought conferences
Oh and did I mention he consistently crushes prop bets!! Beating prop bets is one thing, doing it consistently with his travel schedule, game attendance, and media obligations is something else. I don’t think I could do that, I like to be locked in a dark room on gameday mornings. I’m sure I missed some things, but that’s a Bird’s Eye view introduction of @CFFroton
Now let’s go back, January of 2024, National Championship Game, Washington vs Michigan. Though I was a long time 𝕏 account holder, I had just become active in this community in late November of 2023 posting writeups and plays, and it was going well. This national title game was that rare game where I just knew the script, I went for it, not recklessly but aggressively. I crushed the game going 12-4, hitting a couple parlays, and picking up 15+ units
At this time, though my plays were consistently winning, I had at best a tiny following. After crushing this game I thought I had arrived, this was going to blow up. I learned that tough lonely lesson we all learn that night…. **No one cares** Well no one except Eric Froton. I got 3 reposts on my epic triumphant night, one of them was, you guessed it, Eric Froton
But that’s not the end of the story, I later found out he pitched a perfect game that night, 11/11 on his props. He never mentioned it when he congratulated me, didn’t accuse me of thieving his plays, instead he lifted someone up who could offer him nothing, celebrated my success. We should all do more of that, be more like Eric
But that’s not the end of the story…. The 2023 season had concluded, I thanked Eric obviously for the support and we shared a few DMs. When fall arrived for the 2024 season he not only remembered me, he reached out to me AND introduced me to his friends Thor @thorku, Bacon @eliotmays, and Mike @MBainbridgeCFF. They do weekly Spaces and YouTube’s on CFB props; many weeks they would shoutout a play of mine for their audience and officially track it alongside their plays. @CFFroton and I now often share weekly info and plays during the season. Eric Froton is the class of Gambling 𝕏, he works his ass off with enthusiasm, expertise, a smile, and a rare genuineness. He’s a 1/1
Let’s celebrate him, get him to 10K before kickoff, but most of all:
Thank you Eric🙏🤝👊🏼
We are officially in the FINAL stretch of CFF drafts.
If you're drafting on @Fantrax with the entire FBS player pool, I have a pretty simple strategy I’ve followed all offseason.

“Welcome to the 2026 college football season… unless you’re a believer that it’s not truly a college football season until there’s a full slate of games. (That’s next week!) Either way, there are college football games to watch and bets to make.”

For the 13th year, I will be writing and editing a weekly College Fantasy Football Waiver Wire column for CFF diehards on @Fantrax. I have put together a great team to help me this year.
