Hands down the most majestic looking cat I ever saw

As a couples therapist, I noticed 8 patterns in couples who didn’t make it.

HERE THEY ARE:

8. They did not know how to repair.

In relationships we will hurt people, and people will hurt us. Repair is the act of apologizing, listening (even when it’s hard), and promising to do better. Instead of repair, there was defensiveness & deflection.

[Dr. Nicole LePera @Theholisticpsyc]

3. They never fought.

This usually came from one partner avoiding or suppressing their issues. When one partner would finally reach a boiling point, the other partner would be confused because they seemingly never disagreed.
