Hosting another Sunrise of Hope program at Gbagada General Hospital. We were happy to have Aunty Abiola Okoya with us. The program was in memory of her late son - Ayodeji Akinwande Modupe-Johnson who died from SCD complications. May his soul continue to rest in perfect peace.

With a heavy heart, I join my senior and junior colleagues in the sickle cell community as we mourn the loss of a gallant warrior. Aunty Toyin Ibidunni Adesola who has gone to be with the Lord. Rest well ma, no more pains, no more turbulence from the earth.

It was a wonderful time with the NOSF Sickle Cell Foundation maiden monthly clinic. We had fun, shared our lived experience, danced, had nutritional tips, check ups alongside medical consultation and lovely gifts. Thanks so much for inviting GSI

As we wrapped up September, Myself and the GSI team proceeded to my Alma Mater. It was to sensitize the senior students on the importance of genotype compatibility in commemoration of the SCD awareness month.
