The Minister of Health, Hon. Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng launched the partnership between MoH and Novartis ( a pharmaceutical company). They will support the establishment of sickle cell centres if excellence and they will also produce hydroxyurea. The Min asked them to reduce its cost
