Hyderabad woman in Vijayawada terror probe -

• In a fresh update, key accused Mohammad Rahmatullah Sharif was allegedly in contact with Saida Begum from Hyderabad

• Accused were allegedly acting on instructions from a foreign handler identified as Al-Hakeem Shukur

• Rahmatullah reportedly collaborated with Shadman Dilkush from Bihar and Saida Begum from Hyderabad as part of the wider network

• Further, he allegedly established links with individuals associated with the ISIS-linked “Benex Com” group

• These include Ajmanullah Khan (Bihar), Lucky Ahmed (Delhi), Mir Asif Ali (West Bengal), Zeeshan (Rajasthan), Abdul Salam (Karnataka), Shah Rukh Khan and Shiyak Piyaz ur Rehman (Maharashtra)

• Accused allegedly carried out activities based on instructions from these operatives and used social media platforms to promote extremist ideology and recruit youth

• The Vijayawada trio allegedly posted videos projecting themselves as Mujahideen, watched videos of Osama bin Laden, and imitated his attire and behaviour while engaging in radical propaganda

• They are also accused of replacing the national flag with the ISIS flag in online posts, mocking the national anthem, burning the national flag, praising ISIS and spreading hatred against non-believers

• They were reportedly working towards the objective of converting India into an Islamic state

• They were seemingly making arrangements to travel to Pakistan within a month to take part in training

• They were also allegedly motivating youth to undergo militant training in Pakistan and Afghanistan
