A grumpy old man who is just too old to put up with most of this life's .... A mid-handicap golfer and high-handicap guitar player. Trying to improve @ both ;-)
@ArdglassGolf - A few well known faces from our local hotel, transport and tour operator businesses gathered to help Paul celebrate his super achievement after the presentation in the K Club last night.
I’ve just grabbed this from a video posted by @paulvaughanpro of @ArdglassGolf in N. Ireland. Sensational views of the first and 18th holes, as well as the 14th-century Norman castle that serves as the clubhouse. One of my favourite courses in the world: https://t.co/KY4y9pDl8q
@cardon_brian Yes. some Irish people were transported to the US against their will.
From 1611 to 1775, many Irish were sentenced and sent to the American colonies, primarily Virginia and Maryland.
These included political prisoners, such as those who rebelled against Cromwell's army in 1649.
