We submitted an application to Income Tax department (Protean eGov Technologies) for updating PAN of a company along with all documents on 28 April 2026. Its been 35 days and still the application is not processed. Very sad state of affairs . @ProteanEgovTech @IncomeTaxIndia

I previously applied for tan and one pan in both cases form was completely filled and payment was paid through upiq which got debited from bank account. But after the payment page suddenly there was an error page.

@ProteanEgovTech You just provide standardise template response without communicating the reasons for delay, expected timeline for resolution. How can one have patience and understanding when our business is severely getting impacted to due such delays from the department side.

@iamshiv10 @ProteanEgovTech @INCIndia @INCKerala Exactly same in my case. Its been more than 42 days since I applied for PAN correction and they have still not processed it. Everytime they have the same answer "We are closely looking into it". We are incurring losses even before starting our business.

Its been around 45 days that the application was submitted and near 40 days where all documents were sent. Why such pathetic service from an organization like yours?

@ProteanEgovTech I have sent atleast 4 emails in last 10 days requesting for an update and got exactly the same response that we are following up, we have escalated the issue etc., but my issue remain unresolved. Kindly understand all my other licenses are stuck as my PAN is not updated.
