stop treating fictional characters

When it comes to violence, murder, torture, we're perfectly okay with depicting it and even adding nuance to such characters.

But when it involves anything with sexuality ppl act like the author and anyone watching the show fully endorse that behavior.

The whole point of art, in fact the point of engaging with another person's thoughts in any capacity, is to expand your very limited individual perspective on the world, not to live in a tiny box perfectly catered to your adolescent personal tastes

You can't make a regular person hate A.I.

The average person doesn't care about artists, or writers, or the environment.

So tell your mom that her kids are gonna have AI p*rn made of them and it'll be legal. Tell your uncle their electric bill is gonna go up and it will be legal. Tell your bro that their water is gonna go bad and it will be legal. Tell your grandma she won't be able to breathe outside and it will be legal. Tell your sister they're gonna make deep fakes of her and use it to make her look racist and it will be legal. Tell your bestie they'll make fake n*des of her and it will be legal. Tell your father he'll be miscategorized as a felon on a google search and it will be legal.

Yes these are all things that have happened and can happen. So stop using the artist argument for regular people. Try these instead 🙏

Basically every AI use case is either A) "I want a little slave" B) "I don't want to have human interactions with my child/spouse/friend" or C) A + B

idc about all this drama and fictional activism when there are so many actual problems irl worth caring about. but why is it always women’s media that gets policed? we’re constantly told what women should and shouldn’t consume based on how “problematic” or “not woke” it is
