A place to learn, a place to play, and a place to belong.
President Obama and CEO of the Obama Foundation Valerie Jarrett recently marveled at our whimsical playground — full of oversized animal structures and world class play equipment — and reflected on how our on-site branch of the Chicago Public Library will appeal to kids of every age.
This is a place where every family is welcome, every child is safe, and every person is respected — a place for everyone.
It was a very bad day in the office for the Mikoras after their “assets recovery mission” was terminated indefinitely before it even began. The hard-eyed fellows had already coordinated a surprise ambush against the son of Adonija, who was walking helter skelter toward his hacienda like a man carrying government secrets in a polythene bag.
But little did they know, the Ninja had already sensed danger & armed himself with Kogalo’s RPG. Before the Mikoras could even smell his wealth, son of Adonija launched a stone missile with the accuracy of a military drone,, Chesaa! That stone flew through the air like it had been sponsored by NASA itself.
The brick landed directly on one Mikora head who was majestically seated on a motorbike like a komba mwiko. The impact was so serious the man disconnected from the bike spiritually, emotionally and physically at the same time.
For a moment the Mikoras forgot about asset recovery mission and immediately switched to survival mode. The matofali was moving like a bullet from a sophisticated rifle imported straight from Ukraine. One of the Mikora ran so fast his slippers remained behind to continue the mission alone.
Luckily for them, their fortieth day had not yet arrived. They escaped the scene nursing serious injuries, confusion and unnecessary embarrassment. Reports indicate one of them is still explaining to his family how a mere pedestrian turned into a one man anti-riot police unit within seconds. Ni Mbaya,, Put STONE!!🥲

🇸🇳Ousmane Sonko: “There will be no system of hyper-presidentialism in Senegal today.”
Senegal’s parliament erupted in celebration and dance as Ousmane Sonko took his seat as the new President of the National Assembly, amid escalating tensions with President Bassirou Diomaye Faye.
“What is at stake is the relationship between morality and politics,” Sonko declared.
“The National Assembly will use all its levers of power firmly but responsibly moving forward,” Sonko warns in his first address, as he officially becomes Senegal’s second-highest state authority.
"I will not use the Assembly to feed personal vendettas. That would be a betrayal to our very own struggle."
While insisting that his party, PASTEF, will give President Faye “the best conditions to complete his term”, Sonko maintains that his party must remain central to the functioning of government. He argues that the appointment of the new Prime Minister, Ahmadou Al Aminou Lô, was carried out without adequate consultation with the ruling party, PASTEF.
“Our party was not involved in this decision to appoint the new prime minister. It was also not consulted in the formation of the government. You can’t have PASTEF without PASTEF.”
“I know the Prime Minister personally having worked with him for a year and a half during which he accomplished a tremendous amount of work.”
However, Sonko says he had “certain disagreements” with him on monetary and debt-related issues.
In fact Ousmane Sonko is a master piece in strong armed delivered a soft finese that you only realize when the effect is already ravaging through your political nervous system.
I wasn’t familiar with Ousmane Sonko’s political theatrics but Senegal is giving us a masterclass right now 😅
Imagine firing the man who built the movement, mobilized the streets, sacrificed his own presidential ambitions for you… only for him to bounce back days later as head of parliament.
That’s when you realize some people don’t need the presidency to remain the most powerful man in the room.
Last night, NTV aired this heartbreaking documentary on the assassination of Dr Chrispin Odhiambo Mbai.

President Obama on Iran: “We pulled it off without firing a missile. We got 97% of their enriched uranium out. There’s no dispute that it worked and we didn’t have to kill a whole bunch of people or shut down the Strait of Hormuz”
Kasmael McOure was at Citizen TV today, where he roasted commercial activists and Wamunyoro sympathizers one by one. Everyone got a taste of their own medicine.
This morning, it was the turn of Kasmuel McOure to pick up from where Roseline Alionya left last Friday.
