Reading indoors today, on account of spring rains. Cracking open a new book and have never been faced with this before - not to complain or pass judgement, but what are the benefits of such a decision? Is this a publisher preference or author? Is this becoming common practice?

An LLM and art identification:
Today I attempted to discover the title and artist of a painting I saw a glimpse of while on YouTube. To begin, the painting, seen here, is entitled "La civilització del califat de Còrdova en temps d’Abd al-Rahman III" by Dionís Baixeras (1885)
And much art is more commonly used as a branded iconography than a creation of inherent skill or genius. Of course, the questions of "what is art" and "who owns art" are impossible to answer and will continue to be an obstacle to such developments happening.
