@antalova_janka Sounds like you dodged a bullet. In your shoes, I think I would have been quite upset. Keep your head up. You can't do your best in situations like this. Just a bad process on their end.
@zachwritescode The admin part has been frustrating for me using a Windows laptop. I feel like I get asked for admin login every 5 minutes when setting up environments.
@DyslecixDev On this I feel like there's a stigma around using it. Which I partially understand, but I feel like it can be a massive enabler in terms of not having to look up the smaller things. I'm on a trial at the moment, but I think I'll pay for it. Seems worth it to me.
@loftwah Had this conversation today, it seems odd to me that many people find flexible working arrangements or working at home intolerable... I don't get the reasoning
@donaldklee@DyslecixDev I guess it depends on where you are in your journey right, but continuous learning is the key to those higher incomes either way for sure
@DyslecixDev Haha I hear you, I feel like 12 months in is where I'd consider pushing up, but rn I'm just thankful to be learning more of what I like... unlike university!
@DedalusDev I'm a junior rn, imo it can contribute to the slower development of a junior. It can be daunting asking questions. I try to ask them anyway because I want to learn, but mostly, i spend longer googling, stackoverflowling, and GPT'ing to avoid this feeling.
