@CarcinogenSDA @Fluffyquack Exactly it all comes down to code review if it's just being churned out without being vetted it can just cause problems. Lots of "indie devs" nowadays are just farting code out without checking and their games just run like ass.

@Fluffyquack The difference is how much oversight is actually being done on the "AAA" side vs the Indie side of things imo. If a bunch of AI code is used without oversight in either camp a game can run like ass and get clocked for it and should be called out for it Indie or AAA

Ai is not in a state where it should be used like this it's being abused to make a quick buck rather than being properly fleshed out. AI code still needs lots of oversight that's ignored.
