The Zuko shot I animated for new Aang movie!
getting to animate one of my favorite characters of all time was definitely dream come true! watching it get passed along at every stage, everyone's work blew me away. Im also SO grateful to our character layout artists, Thankyou <3
Richard Chhoa, an animator of the movie posted this gem of an animation. Aang is soooo stressed, the way he's throwing zuko sokka around and slapping tagah TT

The film follows a girl who enters a magical forbidden forest to rescue her kidnapped baby brother.
In theaters on October 23.
@NicoB7700 I mean if we’re talking unironically, it’s essentially because he survived a big fuckass moon crashing into the planet. Though it also speaks a bit to the player base too, who love naming their player characters some abysmal shit. (I named mine Corn Bread 🍞 ❤️)
In light of the Avatar leaks, I wanted to share a list of our visual development artists. There is so much amazing work we did on the film that we are not allowed to share right now, and it’s thanks to these people that the movie looks the way it does. Thread below ⬇️
I have to be incredibly honest. As an old school JRPG and Final Fantasy enjoyer, I actually really liked ARR a lot. I know the discussion around it is that it’s generally seen as a slog, but MAN was I having the time of my life
Don’t even get me started on all the stuff there was to do outside of MSQ, I had never played an MMO before FFXIV (outside of maybe 3 days in WoW because I had no idea what to do,) so the experience was shiny and brand new. It still feels that way sometimes too!
2021 - The animating process wasn’t too hard because the animatic was so damn good. the most stressful part was to get the rough done in a few weeks, while keeping characters on model and scale accurate. Had to get it done before I went on to supervise Monkie Kid Season 3 after.
