I fell down a Dylan Harper rabbit hole and I had no idea he had blood wars with Cooper Flagg in high school. Had no idea that Harper was this much of an alpha. Mitch shouldve put the ball in his hands, man.
Wemby on Castle: "He might be the most mature player on our team."
Castle on Wemby: "Vic would probably be number one. I don't go to sleep at 9:00 PM." 🤣
Dear OKC,
We were blessed with the opportunity by @HEB to go to your city for game 7 and… wow.
Transparently, with all the responses we’ve gotten from OKC fans on here, we thought a lot of hate was waiting for us at Paycom but we couldn’t have been more wrong.
99% of your fans were so kind and welcoming, even congratulating each and every one of us after the win. The pregame chant battles were nothing but respectful and filled with friendly banter.
There is a common sentiment that you have some of the loudest fans in the NBA and that might just be true. Every single one of you on your feet the entire game, every single OKC fan in the shirt, and your use of the clappers is impeccable. An hour before tip and the arena was already full. We’re still biased towards San Antonio, but if we’re looking for a second place in crowd environment, you guys are up there.
We know that this will not be the last time we see OKC in a playoff run, I imagine it’ll be a fairly consistent thing, but after 12 games this season, your real fanbase definitely has our respect and we can’t help but tip our hat.
Thank you for being an amazing host to us, we hope all of your players get healthy, and can’t wait for the NBA’s newest big rivalry to continue.

Takeaways from the Spurs Game 7 win vs. Oklahoma City:
- O.M.G.
- Win or go home Victor Wembanyama might be the best player to ever play the game
- Julian Champagnie finally found himself in the biggest moment
- Luke Kornet deserves a statue for his block
- De'Aaron Fox also had his best game of the series, these next few days of rest are going to be huge
- Stephon Castle got a little turnover happy but man was he amazing everywhere else
- I still cannot fathom how Dylan Harper is a rookie
- Keldon Johnson was awful for three quarters, and boy was he huge in the fourth
- Devin Vassell had quite an off night, but still found ways to be big
- Unbelievable job taking care of the basketball besides the last two minute, I almost had a heart attack
- The effort on the glass in the second half was what gave the Spurs an advantage, a night-and-day difference from half one to half two
- They took 40 threes, but when you shoot 42.5%, keep letting them fly
- Would've liked more points in the paint, but beggars can't be choosers
- 15 offensive rebounds and 17 second chance points, I like it, let's get a few more
- Only 21 assists is too little for my liking, but tonight everyone went to work and was in their bag, sometimes you have to let your guys go to work
- I genuinely cannot believe it
- Build Air Corgi a statue
- Get the nuns tickets to all home games of the finals now
- I just have no words, I'm so happy
4-3!!! FOUR. MORE. #PorVida
Wemby:
"(Pop) goes through some things we can't even imagine. I need to call him. I need to see him, I need to talk to him because there's no way I can understand right now how he feels. When I talk to him, it's gonna be only a story in my head, except if I record it in secret but I need to talk him so quick"
500-IQ win by Coach Mitch Johnson 🧠
-Doubled SGA for 3 games - led to a to a Bald Fraud and a TikToker having career games
-Stopped doubling SGA, forcing Bald Fraud and TikToker to actually play against defense
-Bald Fraud and TikToker scored a combined FOUR POINTS on 1/11 FG
Spurs made countless winning plays late and I’m sure this is the one coaches of youngsters are showing today.
Wemby is GASSED in OT and he cuts here anyway. Bad pass/contact but no sulking or complaining. He hauls ass back and dives for the loose ball. Spurs win the review.
Spurs forward Carter Bryant, on Victor Wembanyama’s deep 3 in overtime: “I can’t believe he shot it, and I can’t believe that went in. He let it go out of his hands and I was like, ‘Oh, he shot that. Oh, it went in. OK, cool.’ It was pretty dope.”
Wembanyama on the loss to Team USA in the U19 World Cup Final:
“Just thinking about it makes my jaw clench. It's a regret. An unfilled hole inside me that I have to fix."
Look at his reaction after fouling out.
No chance Spurs lose to OKC.
Spurs in 6.
#GoSpursGo#PorVida
Victor Wembanyama is introduced as a starter to what I think is the loudest ovation I’ve heard.
The #Spurs center avoided a suspension after being ejected in Game 4 for elbowing Naz Reid. #PorVida
Interesting contrast here: Spurs fans were vocal about wanting Anthony Edwards to play in this series. Meanwhile Wolves fans are melting down because Wemby *wasn’t* suspended for Game 5. One fan base wants stars on the court. The other’s terrified of it 🤣🤣🤣 #PorVida
