Thank you, President Trump for bringing together the Oligarchs who run our country. While working families struggle to survive due to your disastrous policies, they are now worth over $1.7 trillion, including:
Elon Musk: $920 billion
Jeff Bezos: $368 billion
Mark Zuckerberg: $250 billion
Jensen Huang: $200 billion
Obscene.
Let us #PrayTogether that the mental health ministry be established throughout the Church, helping to overcome the stigma and discrimination of persons with mental illnesses. Be a part of this prayer: https://t.co/RQWBPajjtx #PrayerIntention@clicktopray_en
Today we celebrate the birth of a little girl who would be called to become the Mother of her Creator, the Mother of God. Yet, she is born simply as a little girl, like the daughters and granddaughters we hold in our arms. We bestow upon her the most exalted and noble titles, such as Our Lady and Queen, but God’s way was and remains simpler and quieter, yet no less powerful and transformative. It is the way of Jesus Himself. #NativityOfMary
It happened again the other day. I was out running an errand when a man started walking toward me.
“I’m a Republican, but I just want to thank you for what you’re doing.”
Suddenly, Republicans are stopping me to talk. It comes at a time when less than half of the GOP says they "strongly approve" of Trump. (Link below)
Lots about Trump renaming New Mexico, New America. But people are too polite to point out Trump has no interest in renaming New England, New Hampshire, New Jersey, or New York. It's Mexico and Mexicans and Latinos he wants to taunt. It's idiocy, but it's also a dog whistle.
I’ve said it my entire career: the middle class built America. And unions built the middle class. To every worker who's ever punched a clock, worked a double, or walked a line for fair wages – and to everyone who stands up for them, at the bargaining table, in the statehouse, or on the shop floor: thank you. This country runs in large part because of you.
Workers didn't win weekends, safer workplaces, better wages, or the 40-hour workweek because corporations decided to do the right thing. They won those rights by organizing and fighting together.
This Labor Day, we honor that history and keep fighting for working people.
No it won’t undo many of the things, but it’s the first in many steps necessary to get this country back on track. We have to win in November, investigate and expose the corruption, and draft a consensus candidate in 2028. #Vote#VoteBlue
