@TheRonDada Ppl not watching the show fr bro. It’s clear Thragg did that because of their ideology. Thadeus was weak and weakness is a disease in their mind. I’ve heard ppl say “ the purge didn’t help him find who’s responsible” like 😑 that wasn’t the point
Nigga just can’t be wrong.
Engineer said don’t do it.
The whole world saying it’s ass.
Somehow he still thinks he’s right. Nigga don’t even know what heaven sent means
@KSheared You didn’t add nuance, you pivoted. My point was cultural impact. Instead of addressing that, you switched to streaming availability and younger audiences. And “let’s not be dense” is literally an ad hominem. Anyway, this is going in circles. Get off my dick.
the fact that Jett Jackson needed Raven to mention him in order to become a trending topic is itself evidence of the level of his current cultural footprint. That does not mean the show was irrelevant. It means it was not living in the culture the way people are pretending it was
The Twitter argument cycle is predictable: ignore the point, pivot the topic, keep ignoring the point, then resort to ad hominem once the conversation stops going your way.
@KSheared Nobody conceded. You changed the topic. We were discussing cultural impact of the shows and you pivoted to streaming access and a tweet about the actor.
Go about your day
Hannah Montana and that’s so raven are apart of the same era. They even had a crossover episode. Jett Jackson ended two years before raven and it only had two seasons. Nostalgia doesn’t translate to impact.
@TheRonDada Laying groundwork and defining an era are two different things. A lot of shows introduce ideas, but the ones that dominate the culture are the ones people still talk about.
@KSheared Cultural impact isn’t hard to measure. Shows with real impact stay in the conversation. Hannah Montana still comes up naturally. Jett Jackson only came up because Raven mentioned it.
The conversation started as “Who belongs on the Disney Channel Mount Rushmore?” implies impact, dominance, and historical importance.
Twitter has turned it into:
“Which show did I personally love as a kid?”
@KSheared Guest appearances don’t equal cultural impact. The show still ended before Raven even started and wasn’t nearly as dominant as Raven or Hannah Montana.
Jett Jackson was cool and I wasn’t even a fan of Hannah Montana also mount Rushmore isn’t about who founded something. Only 2 ppl on Mount Rushmore are founding fathers. Raven listed her favorites not who’s objectively the most important or impactful to Disney
