Are people in your organization experiencing burnout and other difficulties because of the world’s current uncertainty? Promote emotional safety by fostering opportunities: In hybrid and remote work arrangements, address the fear of invisibility by rotating meeting facilitation .
There's a ripple effect of belonging. As I feel a sense of belonging in an environment I am energized and motivated to contribute to others'.
And...when I don't feel that sense of belonging it's hard for me to be thinking about others' sense of belonging.

Belonging can have a powerful impact on the way that employees show up. Here are two ways to show others that they belong:
- Ask questions to understand the other person's perspective and experience
- In meetings, ensure the person speaking is not interrupted by others
Foster trust within your organization by being vulnerable and transparent: acknowledge that you don't have all the answers. "I don't know right now" is better than silence.
