Proud moment. My son who has some learning and communication needs and hardly ever says anything came and watched this video this morning, stood there, pointed and said ‘horse’ and just walked off. Even his twin sister looked amazed. #autismawareness#horse
Huge news at West Ham United. Joint chair David Sullivan steps down from his position with immediate effect. “I have recently become aware that factually incorrect and entirely false, decades-old allegations concerning my personal life are due to be broadcast and published,” Sullivan says in a statement.
“The false allegations levelled against me have been sensationalised by the media. After a lifetime spent building businesses in the adult industry in which I have met thousands of women, it is sadly inevitable that a small number of improper conduct claims are being made against me. I categorically deny these claims.
“This has been an incredibly painful decision to make, but it is one made out of love, respect, and responsibility toward a football club and a fanbase that deserve absolute unity and focus moving forward. I am stepping down to apply my full energy and attention on fighting these false allegations.”
It is understood none of the allegations relate to West Ham. Club confirms that CEO Karim Virani, “reporting into the current Board of Directors, will continue to be responsible for leading the Club’s day-to-day operations”. #WHUFC
@SuellaBraverman Recruiting more teachers for schools!? This isn't where the problem is, its in Colleges, the people who actually train the young people. Schools have often failed them. Colleges can't recruit or retain staff. As for the comment independent schools. Elitist!!
@PolitlcsUK Yet funding to train and teach people at Further Education Colleges was increased by a paltry 0.55% this year, despite obvious rising costs. That will help solve it. The sector is in a mess due to staff morale, pay and retention. #FE 🙄😬
@TeleFootball@WestHam_Stuff@mcgrathmike Can have him. Utterly dreadful positionally and only reason he makes so many last ditch tackles is because he is out of position and lazy.
@mjyharris Enjoyed reading that Michael. Some of my best childhood memories are following West Ham and the away trips. I'll be cheering on the claret and blue tonight and hope Villa do the job.
🚨🎙️| Joe Hart on West Ham’s disallowed equalizer vs Arsenal, accuses VAR of saving Arsenal’s title hopes:
🗣️“Listen, I don’t care what anyone says, that goal should’ve stood. VAR has absolutely ruined moments like that. West Ham fought for that equalizer and somehow they’ve found a way to disallow it for the softest little touch you’ll ever see. If that’s Arsenal scoring at the Emirates, nobody even checks it for more than five seconds.
And this is what frustrates fans, Arsenal have lived off those scrappy, aggressive goals all season. Blocking keepers, crowding the six-yard box, little nudges here and there… suddenly when it happens against them, it’s ‘clear and obvious.’ Give me a break.
I was a goalkeeper, I know when a keeper’s genuinely impeded and when he’s looking for help. There’s no way you can tell me that was enough contact for the goal to be overturned. The game’s gone soft. West Ham have been robbed, simple as that.
You wonder why fans think certain clubs get favourable decisions because moments like this keep happening. Arsenal are in a title race and somehow every 50/50 call seems to land their way. That equalizer changes the whole atmosphere of the game and VAR bottled it. Absolutely bottled it.”
As a West Ham fan we are used to few highs but a lot of lows. The absolute shite that var and the indecision by incompetent, scared, and weak refs however has ruined this game. Bring on the championship and celebrating a goal without the fear a ref has simply bottled it #whufc
