Internet service expired.
Relying on mobile data and 'very' edge of grandparents' wifi range.
Tried renewing Starlink subscription.
Saw $21.40 as "amount due". Made an accnt and put payment info.
Found out that actually orders a crappy mini router instead.
Grok is not helpful.
@Asian_Dieno Hey you can vote now, if you care about that.
Sorry for the late response, I hadn't checked on my Txitter much this year since... you know.
Then again, I didn't see this until sometime yesterday.
Have a good year, bud!
It's actually about 19 years,
There's a 'few' things from 2007 on there.
Like, HL2 mods that aren't available anymore.
There should be a 2009ish blendfile SOMEWHERE
of an imported NeoHeavyCombine gmod model
animated doing a cool ledge jump.
Currently the "new" setup as of 10 days ago.
Have been able to do 3D on it, though it is not exactly a gaming PC so it gets iffy about stuff like shaders or subdivision modifier.
Still, it's better than phone apps.
Stuck on Internet explorer

Trying to look into data recovery even though my nerves are completely shot right now. Is there anyone else here at all from Mississippi? My stepdad offered to help out with cost but I need to know a reliable place first.
@Asian_Dieno Screwattack used to be BIG thing in the mid-to-late 2000s, the convention was where it peaked. I got to meet all of the guys from the videos there. Am a bit down looking at how most ""conventions"" now are mostly just merch stands. SGC had everything, WAY better than E3.
Cosplay award from 2010, Screwattack gaming convention. Found it two years ago, felt like sharing it.
Seen better days, though I was surprised that I still have it.
Gaming conventions aren't really a thing anymore, mostly places to buy or advertise.
The guy pictured on it went by 'Angel', dunno what his real name was. I also gave him the helmet for the HL2 Metrocop cosplay as a souvenir. I think I still have the stun baton that went with it, though the vest and pants have gone missing since.
It's important to recall good times, better to have something to remind you. Think of those as a "backup" for when your own memory fails you.
You will not always remember good moments, you may forget them entirely. I didn't even remember what Screwattack was until I found this, and I often forget again unless I look at it.
I feel bad for folks who grew up past that time not too long ago, things really have gotten shallow nowadays.
The year has a new number on it.
I miss fireworks.
First quarter of the 21st century started rocky, went strong, then ended like crap.
Predicting second quarter to have war-related casualties down as gamers are hired to shoot literal Russian bots in VR-assisted drone warfare.
