โก INSIGHT: In 2013, a user wrote "I AM HODLING" on Bitcointalk after a 39% price crash, coining the term that became Bitcoin's most popular strategy.
Trump, Powell, and interest rates
Today, the price of money is determined by structural factors. Demand for capital is growing: the US government is increasing its debt, financing military programs, and pouring billions into artificial intelligence. Businesses are also borrowing, building data centers, and restructuring supply chains. At the same time, the supply of savings is declining. Boomers, who have been saving for decades, are now spending. China, which used to buy tons of Treasuries, is no longer the โworld's bank.โ Even oil powers are investing in their own megaprojects rather than US debt
Political attacks on the independence of the Federal Reserve only exacerbate the picture. Investors do not want to hold an asset that could be devalued if the regulator dances to the president's tune. If confidence in the dollar weakens, long-term loan rates will rise even more
The era of cheap money is over. For thirty years, rates fell, Washington could borrow as much as it wanted, the stock market grew, and mortgages were affordable. Now it's the opposite: ten-year bonds are holding steady at around 4.5% and are likely to go higher. Bloomberg predicts that 4.5-5% will become the new normal, with risks leaning toward 6%. For an economy accustomed to cheap financing, this is a painful turnaround
Trump hopes that replacing Powell and appointing โhisโ man will allow him to quickly bring down rates. In the short term, maybe. But in the long term, it will lead to a loss of confidence, capital flight, and rising yields. Demographics, geopolitics, new debt โ all of this is pushing up the cost of money. So what kind of deep rate cuts can we talk about now?
How to get rich on altcoins? (Part 2)
๐ต So, we already know that the popularity of a project is very important, and metrics confirm whether the product is being used. Let's continue exploring this topic.
๐ฅ Clear tokenomics
๐ต If you plan to hold a token for only a few days, tokenomics is not that important. But for medium- and long-term investments, it's a different story.
๐ต For example, TIA has fallen by more than 90% over the past 17 months due to enormous selling pressure from early investors after each token unlock. Therefore, it is important to study tokenomics before buying a token.
๐ต What I look at when researching a token:
Upcoming unlocks (you can check the tokenomics and unlocks of popular tokens via Tokenomist)
In general, I want at least 30% of tokens to be in circulation, and the annual issuance (inflation) to be no more than 20-35%.
๐ต Also, if a large unlock is expected in the near future (for example, more than 20% of the current circulation), I would not buy this token.
Token utility. I always ask myself two questions:
โ Does the token benefit from the success of the protocol?
โ And why would someone buy it at a higher price than me?
๐ต The best options are income distribution mechanics or token buybacks. Although strong utility is a big plus, it is not essential. I have seen many tokens with almost no utility that still grew well.
Mindshare on social + explosive metrics = potential goldmine
Think ENA: 154% up after TVL surged 50%. Tools? Start with DeFiLlama
Narratives matter. So does timingโ

How to get rich on altcoins? (Part 1)
๐ต In a poll on Discord, you voted for topics that interest you. We heard you, so let's talk about finding that one project to make some money.
๐ต The bull market is back (at least for now). But the question is, which altcoins are most likely to become top performers?
๐ต During the 2021 bull market, almost every random coin was growing. But since then, everything has changed.
๐ต Millions of new altcoins have been launched, and now it is extremely important to be very selective about what to buy in order to make money.
๐ต In this post, I want to share my crypto checklist and what I look for in projects.
