This was an exceptional quarter by Robinhood. Lowered expense guidance and grew every single part of the business. They now have 13 lines of business doing $100M in ARR and they have a 17% attach rate on gold subscribers, the highest they've ever had. Net deposits at $22B in three months is absolutely incredible (their highest ever) with $3B already in Robinhood Banking. Robinhood's gold credit card now has 1M holders and seeing $17B of annualized spend.

The future of finance is being led by Robinhood.

I've been loving using Robinhood, especially the Agentic account.

It's currently beating the S&P 500 by +7%. If this keeps going, I might just have it manage my entire portfolio! (JK, maybe)

Their other products are very good as well. I switched when they had the $TSLA promo for transfers, and I haven't looked back. I ended up becoming a Banking customer as well, and I've been using the Gold credit card on a daily basis.

They truly make finance & investing fun! Super underrated for the newer generations coming up, especially with the whole socialism/capitalism trend going on in the country. I think Robinhood will be a big reason why Capitalism will win in the end.

The Robinhood Chain is the cleanest case study of what happened to ETH's economics over time.

Since inception, @RobinhoodApp Chain has grossed ~$816K in revenue.

@Arbitrum, the middleware provider, takes 10%: ~$80K.

Arbitrum then pays Ethereum for settlement: $1,538.

The margin profile roughly:

Robinhood: 89%
Arbitrum: 10%
Ethereum: 0.15%

If your thesis is "ETH is money," Robinhood building here is ultra bullish. More activity, more ETH collateral, more lindyness.

If your thesis is "ETH is a revenue generating asset," this is the ultra-bear case.

And here's the uncomfortable truth: Robinhood was never going to build on Solana, Sui or any monolithic L1. They want the stack customization. They want to be landlords, not renters. Ethereum won this deal on merit.
It's just not pricing it right.

A healthy split to me looks more like:
Robinhood: 75%
Arbitrum: 10%
Ethereum: 15%

Robinhood $HOOD is reportedly gauging investor interest in a bond backed by bills for its branded consumer credit cards, in what would be the firm’s first offering of its kind

The company is looking to sell at least $400 million of asset backed securities in four parts,

Initial price talk on the deal’s highest-rated portion is a premium of about 0.8% over the benchmark

I have covered Robinhood for the past 3 years, and it is fair to say that something really different has happened in the past 2 weeks since their Crypto event in the UK.

Why? Well...

Just over one week after launch of the Robinhood Chain:

- 17M+ transactions
- Nearly 350K total addresses
- Nearly $250M in protocol TVL
- More than $1B in DEX trading volume

And three days ago, Robinhood Chain flipped Hyperliquid in 24-hour DEX volume, according to DefiLlama:

Robinhood Chain: $433.19M
Hyperliquid: $296.23M

The implications for $HOOD are significant and really cannot be ignored by the market.

Robinhood is evolving from a brokerage that earns from customer trading activity into a vertically integrated financial ecosystem with its own blockchain, exchange infrastructure, tokenized assets and on-chain liquidity.

This along with the Trump accounts is why I think the stock has finally decoupled from $BTC and is now trading at 80% above its lows in May. Bitcoin could go up or down, the market has moved on with pegging HOOD's stock to random BTC fluctuations, because HOOD is so, so much more important than what happens with any individual coin.

If Robinhood Chain continues gaining adoption, Robinhood could capture economics from:

- Blockchain transaction fees
- DEX trading and liquidity activity
- Tokenized stocks and real-world assets (something Vlad really wants to push heavily as he sees the entire world is moving on chain)
- Stablecoin payments and settlement
- Third-party applications built on its network
- Increased customer deposits and engagement

The bigger opportunity is that Robinhood may no longer need to simply route transactions through financial infrastructure owned by other companies.

It could increasingly own the infrastructure itself...which has always been the bull case for them in crypto. It's not just about making fees off people trading coins, but owning the entire stack when it comes to the broader crypto ecosystem.

That gives Robinhood more control over the customer experience, potentially stronger margins and several new recurring revenue streams.

It is still early, and some of the initial volume may be driven by launch incentives, but Robinhood Chain is already showing that the company could become far more than a retail brokerage. The main assets being traded on it right now are meme coins, which some people may think are a joke, but to me this is showing the willingness of so many native crypto investors to accept Robinhood Chain as a legitimate platform to be able to trade on and eventually, millions of other assets with real world utility will come on chain.

$HOOD is building toward becoming a global, crypto-native financial platform and that level of innovation and speed is what has helped the stock recover this year but is also getting the street excited for the future, diversified streams of revenue which will continue to compound earnings over the coming years.

- Robinhood Chain goes live!

This was an announcement I expected, and I'm quite excited to see what this becomes! Part of the announcements also included perps added natively to the Robinhood chain, and those are going live in the EU.

- Stock tokens (expanded and updated) are now live in 120 countries via Robinhood's wallet.

Maker / Taker orders are also available at rates as low as free (25m volume) and .03% on the taker side. The ability to have rates this low is due to their vertical integration.

- Robinhood Earn

This is a ~7% APY yield on their (partnered) stablecoin project $USDG. It's insured as well.

There were also updates on international expansion, including crypto trading (reinstated) in the UK soon, Canada's expansion and fees (via WonderFi acquisition), and the MAS license in Singapore.
