I'm on a mission to identify the squiggly lines on every ball, hat, program, and the like. These are my auto stories. Follow @builder_set for card stories!
Update: Due to changes in the status of SignatureSleuth, I will no longer be buying and selling on this account. This account is still dedicated to baseball autographs, their identification, and the hobby in general. I will continue to help identify signatures when I can!
@mounties777@PrintRunCards What ball is it on? 90% on the Kyle as the first name but I can't find a match on any of the obvious letter pairings in the last name.
Three more '95 WS autographed balls added to the collection courtesy of @5ToolSignings! List is down to 4:
Kent Merker
Luis Polonia
Dwight Smith (RIP)
Charlie O'Brien
@89FleerGuy @camdensgoneyard@CardPurchaser Sorry, but as a huge braves collector and autograph specialist I have to disagree. Would not pass authentication with Smoltz's name attached.
@t_vguy@TheDutchie79@CardPurchaser We will get there. It's a process and much more straight forward when you limit your sample to the ~20,000 people who have played in the MLB!
@SignatureSleuth I need some help on this auto. I got it Thursday night after the first Titans preseason game in Baltimore, player was in street clothes So was hoping someone can Identify. Thanks I’m advance
I want to apologize for being so inactive over the summer. I'm working hard with our partners to get the NEW Signature Sleuth up and running! Till then, keep tagging me and I'll help where I can!
Hey autograph collectors and experts… found this ball in a box of baseball memorabilia I picked up… any idea who these sigs are? @CardPurchaser @SwettyStacks @coachcreag@rickey939
@funkygreens @SamiEstill @CardPurchaser On personal certs, players like Jeff Franceur and Cal Ripken have had their own companies/partnerships for autographs. Similarly, Jordan has a UD partnership for autographs. TriStar has contracted signings but make sure to check signing histories as some TriStar certs are faked.
@funkygreens @SamiEstill @CardPurchaser Short answer is... No. If it's not now of these I wouldn't pay anything for the authentication and be buying like its raw. I trust JSA, PSA, Beckett, Steiner, and Fanatics for autographs. Of course you're also fine with league issued certs and some personals.
