In Jesus name
Listen:
The root of cruelty to animals, greed, gluttony, numbness of heart, and the destruction of the earth is not mere habit or culture.
It is a heart that has turned away from God and chosen self instead.
Jesus described the condition of such a heart when he said, “Out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander” (Matthew 15:19).
This does not mean the heart is forever closed.
The same Jesus also said the kingdom of God is near and offered to every person.
The heart that produces harm can be turned; the kingdom is not locked out of it. It is refused or received.
Jesus taught that these choices are not confined to this life.
Every act of greed, every refusal of mercy, every willful harm done to the creatures and the world God made is stored up for the day when the secrets of the heart are judged. He declared, “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy” (Matthew 5:7), and warned, “With the measure you use it will be measured to you” (Matthew 7:2).
He cautioned, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions” (Luke 12:15), and told of the rich fool who stored up treasures only for himself and was called a fool by God that very night (Luke 12:16–21).
He also told of the rich man who lived in luxury while ignoring the suffering at his gate and found himself in torment beyond this life (Luke 16:19–31).
The rule of darkness over a human soul is temporary in this age — it does not have the final word. It can be broken.
Those who remain under it, clinging to ego, greed, numbness, and cruelty, will face the lasting consequences of that choice beyond this earthly life.
Those who hand these things over — who repent, practice mercy, deny self, and treat creation as God’s rather than as property to exploit — are transferred into the kingdom that does not end.
The darkness is temporary; the kingdom of God is forever.
Jesus’ command is therefore simple and absolute: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17). “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind… You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:37–39). “Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness” (Matthew 6:33). “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me” (Mark 8:34). Show mercy.
Live as a steward, not an owner — for even the sparrows are not forgotten before God (Matthew 10:29), and the earth belongs to the Lord.
These are not suggestions for a better earthly life alone.
They are the path that leads beyond this realm, into the presence of the One who made both the sparrows and the earth, and who will ask an account of every heart.

Elephants
The elephant “breaking” method (phajaan / “the crush”) is a traditional Southeast Asian practice used to force wild or young captive Asian elephant calves into lifelong submission for temples, labor, tourism rides, performances, or logging. It deliberately shatters the animal’s spirit through prolonged physical restraint, pain, starvation, thirst, sleep deprivation, and terror until the elephant stops resisting and accepts human dominance.
How it typically unfolds
A calf—usually 2–4 years old—is first violently separated from its mother and herd. Mothers scream, charge, and try to protect their young; calves cry out in distress. This alone is traumatic for a highly social, long-lived animal that forms deep family bonds.
The calf is then forced into a narrow wooden “crush” or cage—barely larger than its body—built from heavy posts and beams. Legs, neck, and sometimes trunk are tightly bound with ropes or chains so it cannot kick, swing its head, or move more than a few centimeters. It stands (or is forced to stand) in its own urine and feces for days or weeks.
Handlers then systematically inflict pain:
• Sharp metal bullhooks (ankus), sticks with nails, knives, or iron rods are jabbed, stabbed, or scraped into the most sensitive areas: the soft skin behind the ears, the trunk, the forehead, the feet, and the anus.
• Nails or spikes may be driven into the ears or feet.
• Blows a rain of intense beating on the head and body.
• Loud shouting, fire, and constant noise amplify the terror.
• Food and water are withheld for days; sleep is prevented.
• Some accounts describe the forehead becoming raw and bloody from repeated scraping and stabbing.
The calf fights at first—thrashing, trumpeting, trying to break free. As exhaustion, pain, hunger, and fear mount, the resistance collapses into learned helplessness. Screams become weaker. The animal eventually freezes, stops defending itself, and submits. Only then is it offered food and water—usually by the mahout who will control it thereafter—creating a twisted dependency: the same humans who inflicted the agony become the source of relief.
The process can last from several days to weeks or even months depending on the individual. Some calves die from the stress, injuries, or exhaustion. Survivors carry permanent physical scars and deep psychological trauma. Their legendary memory means the fear never fully leaves; the mere sight or touch of a bullhook can trigger instant obedience for the rest of their 50–70 year lives.
What the elephant experiences
Imagine a toddler-sized being (elephants mature slowly and remain dependent for years) ripped from its mother, jammed into a box the size of a coffin, unable to move, while people repeatedly stab and beat the most tender parts of its body. It is thirsty, starving, sleep-deprived, standing in its own waste, hearing constant human shouting, and knowing no way out. Every natural instinct—to run, to fight, to call for its family—is met with more pain until those instincts are extinguished. The goal is not training through understanding or reward; it is to replace the elephant’s will with permanent fear of humans.
This is why most elephants used for tourist rides, shows, painting, or “bathing experiences” in places like Thailand will never again trust people the way a free animal would. The submission you see is the lasting result of that early crushing.
The practice is widely condemned as extreme animal cruelty by welfare organizations

Dear @elonmusk, please help amplify our cries for Indonesia’s burning forests. 💔
Our forests are burning, and orangutans one of the world’s most threatened great apes are losing the only home they have ever known.
In Tanjung Puting, a sanctuary for orangutans is facing the devastating threat of fire. In Way Kambas, the habitat of Sumatran elephants has also been affected by fires.
Behind every wall of smoke, there may be a mother desperately trying to protect her baby. Behind every tree reduced to ashes, there may be a life with nowhere left to run.
They cannot call for help. They cannot escape by car. They cannot tell the world that their home is disappearing. So we must be their voice.
Indonesia’s forests are not just green patches on a map. They are living homes, breathing ecosystems, and the last refuge for species that may never recover if we lose them.
Imagine being a baby orangutan, clinging to your mother as the forest around you burns. Imagine being an elephant, forced to flee the only habitat you have ever known. They did not cause this crisis, yet they are among those paying the price.
Dear Elon, your platform can help these voices travel across borders. Please help bring international attention to the fires threatening Indonesia’s forests and wildlife. Help the world see what is happening before more of this irreplaceable natural heritage is lost.
We do not want the world to remember our orangutans only through photographs after their forests are gone.
Please help us make the world listen while there is still something left to save.
A forest can take decades to recover. A species pushed to extinction may never return.
Please, let the world hear our cry. 🌏🦧🐘

It’s sickening to see what greed does to people, they are destroying the rain forest and the homes of these beautiful, harmless animals, just to gain more land🤮🤮🤮 Why is there no international outcry for these poor animals and all the other animals whose’s lives got lost in the fires😖??
