@thetrainline the last train to Preston changed course, and I was asked to depart at Eccles to get the train back to Manchester. I ran to the other train, but the doors closed as I approached. I missed the last train and had to pay £70 to get home. Am I able to be reimbursed?

@thetrainline For a bit of background, my train was cancelled and the next train wasn’t for another hour. As I would have been late, I got a taxi to Blackpool North and bought a ticket direct to Piccadilly from there, as I had no chance of catching the initial change in Preston.

Wasn't feeling right this morning, so to be on the safe side I used the last of my free LTFs as was due to fly to Germany tomorrow. Had I not done so I would have gone into the office today on the tube, then to Heathrow tomorrow and on to my flight. Ending free testing is idiocy.
