@KyleW_89@rivkahbrown Sure, but I don’t blame “Palestinians” (or Muslims!) for Oct 7th. I blame Hamas, specifically, which is an Islamist group. (Note, ‘Islamist’ meaning a group trying to attack establish an Islamic state - not ‘islamic’ which I wouldn’t use in this context
@RiannTravis@saul_roffe@davidtbeito@colwight You’re an Irish guy who chastises actual Palestinians for being insufficiently militant if they don’t share your willingness to keep throwing away thousands of Palestinian lives so you can feel like you’re part of some great narrative.
@briansburgundy You have it backwards. There are 51 Muslim countries in the world.
For Palestinians specifically, the Jews have accepted multiple 2 state proposals including the original UN 1947 partition plan (rejected by Arabs). The Palestinians have never offered or accepted one
@davidtbeito@colwight Is the idea that Israelis would voluntarily choose to dissolve their state? And if so, do you think that’s a reasonably attainable outcome?
I think as distant as a 2SS seems, anything involving Israeli dissolution is exponentially more impossible
@Solidarity_Star It’s not antisemitic to criticize Israel.
It is pretty antisemitic to cheer on an antisemitic terror group as they slaughter and rape hundreds of Jews though.
@tomdannenbaum Pillays UN report declaring Israel was committing genocide claimed that because Israel knew people would die if they invaded and did it anyways, therefore Israel’s intent was to kill as many Palestinians as possible.
Does this strike you as impartial legal reasoning?
@Hamasnik2 Kind of obvious people who actually cared about Palestinian welfare (and not just satisfying some personal fantasy to be a part of a resistance movement) wouldn’t make Hamas Stan accounts.
