Its not just Boda riders. The loss of confidence in the justice system is leading Ugandans to take this approach as an alternative. Even students at university are known to kill while conducting mob justice. It’s a deep issue.
Boda Bodas need road training. The rate at which they are a danger to themselves and other road users is alarming. Their love for mob justice has to be checked.
I really despise the idea of mob justice. Even with the Okello Onyum case, I do not care how flawed the criminal justice system is. Once we live in a civilized society, there are simply some things we give up like taking power into our own hands.
