Hi #cPenNetwork community,
The two questions we hear most right now are:
“When is the INK distribution?”
“Where will INK be listed?”
This post answers both — and explains the thinking behind our decisions, because we believe you deserve the reasoning, not just the conclusions.
TL;DR
- KYC + liveness verification has been extended to August 21, 23:59:59 UTC. Many of you asked for more time, and we heard you. This is the final deadline; there will be no further extension.
- Only accounts that complete KYC + liveness by the deadline will be eligible for their mined INK distribution. Completing KYC after it reopens later will not restore INK eligibility.
- After the window closes, we are targeting approximately 2 weeks for verification, followed by a phased INK distribution, targeted to begin around mid-September, depending on verification progress. We will work to begin as early as we responsibly can.
- INK will launch on PancakeSwap on BNB Chain. We are not pursuing a centralized exchange listing for launch.
- Our launch approach is built around four choices: DEX-first trading, the voluntary INK Lock program, phased distribution, and ecosystem support including buyback-and-burn and Burnchase.
What INK means to us
INK holds a special place in the cPen story, and we want to say this before talking about logistics.
INK mining had barely begun when the project entered the hardest periods we had ever faced.
The people mining INK at that time could have walked away. Instead, you stayed.
Through the INK season, we found our direction, put the larger ecosystem together, and rebuilt step by step. Your continued participation gave us the opportunity to keep building through that period.
INK carries that story.
This launch is our opportunity to treat it with the care it deserves.
Where INK will be listed, and why
INK will launch on PancakeSwap on BNB Chain, the same DEX where CPEN trades today.
We are not pursuing a centralized exchange listing for the INK launch.
We want to be transparent about why.
The CPEN centralized-exchange listing required significant funds and months of work. Looking back, we believe those resources could have been put to better use building the product and ecosystem.
The recent exchange wind-down also reinforced another consideration: when tokens are held on a centralized exchange, holders depend on that exchange's custody, operations, and withdrawal infrastructure.
With a DEX, users trade directly from self-custody wallets, and transactions can be verified on-chain. It also allows us to avoid significant centralized listing costs and focus our resources on building the ecosystem.
That does not mean DEX trading is risk-free. Crypto assets remain volatile, and DEX users should understand market, liquidity, smart-contract, wallet-security, and transaction risks.
One door remains open: if a genuine top-tier exchange opportunity appears in the future on terms that make sense for the project and community, we will consider it.
What we do not intend to do is spend heavily simply for the sake of having an exchange listing.
Launching INK carefully
We are long-term builders, and our priority is the utility and sustainability of the cPen ecosystem.
The CPEN experience also taught us that the structure of a token launch matters.
For INK, we are taking four deliberate steps:
1. DEX-first launch
INK will begin on PancakeSwap without a paid centralized-exchange listing.
This keeps more project resources available for development, infrastructure, and ecosystem programs.
2. INK Lock
The voluntary INK Lock election announced earlier has now closed.
Users who chose to lock their eligible INK will have their distributed INK subject to the lock period they selected, together with the applicable bonus terms.
These were voluntary choices made by users before distribution.
3. Phased distribution
INK will be distributed in phases rather than through one single distribution.
We will announce the schedule and details of each phase before it begins.
4. Ecosystem support
INK is planned to be supported alongside CPEN across the cPen ecosystem, including the buyback-and-burn program, Burnchase, and future ecosystem programs as they roll out.
Buyback-and-burn activity is part of the token ecosystem; it should not be understood as a guarantee of INK's market price or future value.
The timeline
Now → August 21, 23:59:59 UTC
KYC + liveness verification remains open.
We extended the deadline because many community members asked for additional time and we want eligible users to have a final opportunity to complete verification.
However, we need a fixed eligibility set before INK verification can begin.
August 21, 23:59:59 UTC is therefore the final deadline.
Accounts that have not completed both KYC and liveness by then will not be eligible for their mined INK distribution, and completing KYC after it reopens later will not restore that eligibility.
After the deadline → approximately 2 weeks
The INK verification process begins.
During this period we will confirm KYC and liveness status, verify mined INK balances, and perform the necessary anti-abuse checks.
We will work efficiently, but accuracy comes first.
Target: around mid-September
The phased INK distribution is targeted to begin, subject to completion of the verification process.
We will announce the distribution details and each phase before it starts.
After INK verification/distribution
KYC will reopen for users who need it for HATN and future cPen features.
Please understand the distinction:
Reopened KYC will not restore eligibility for mined INK from the completed INK mining period.
What you should do before August 21
1. Complete KYC + liveness verification
If you have not completed both, please do so before August 21, 23:59:59 UTC.
Do not leave it until the final hours.
If the liveness check is having difficulty:
- Update the cPen app to the latest official version.
- Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
- If you can, try another phone; use a different brand. Phones from the same manufacturer often share the same issue.
- Use a well-lit environment and disable display filters or power-saving settings that may interfere with the camera.
2. Check your BSC wallet address
INK will be distributed to the eligible wallet address saved in your cPen account.
It must be a self-custody wallet where you control the keys, such as MetaMask or Trust Wallet.
Do not use a centralized exchange deposit address.
Tokens sent to an incorrect or unsupported exchange address may be unrecoverable.
Once you have confirmed that your wallet address is correct, we recommend using the wallet lock feature if it is available to you.
The wallet lock adds an email-verification step before the saved address can be changed, providing additional protection for your distribution address.
3. Follow only official cPen channels
Important INK announcements will come from this account and through announcements inside the official cPen app.
⚠️ Stay safe
The official cPen INK contract address has not yet been published.
We will publish it through our official channels when the INK launch goes live.
Until then, any token claiming to be the official cPen INK token is not official.
After launch, always verify the contract address against our official channels before interacting with the token.
The cPen team will never DM you first and will never ask for your seed phrase or private keys.
Nobody can restore your INK eligibility, accelerate verification, or recover an expired eligibility deadline in exchange for payment.
What comes next
From here, you will see updates as each stage moves forward:
INK verification → distribution details → phased distribution → DEX launch
We will announce each step as it is ready.
INK miners stayed with this project through one of its hardest chapters.
Now it is our responsibility to carry INK through the next chapter carefully, transparently, and step by step.
Thank you for being here and for continuing this journey with us.

Proof of Time (PoT) is a mechanism used by the Parallax Network to recognize a user's continuous, genuine participation in the network over time, rather than relying mainly on expensive computing power or large token holdings.
According to Parallax Network's materials, PoT validates the ongoing presence and activity of a node/user. Even relatively passive participation, such as keeping balances synchronized, can contribute to temporal validation.
Why PoT is important for Parallax
1. Rewards consistent participation
PoT makes time and continued participation meaningful. The idea is that someone who remains involved with the network over time can build greater network significance.
2. Helps discourage bots and fake accounts
Parallax describes its time-based activity requirements as a behavioral filter. Continuous, perfectly regular activity can be an indication of automation, helping the network distinguish genuine users from bot farms.
3.Supports fairer distribution**
Instead of making network influence depend entirely on computing hardware or capital, PoT is intended to give ordinary participants a way to contribute through sustained participation. Parallax says this is aimed at reducing dilution by "ghost nodes" and automated accounts.
https://t.co/2Etr5unzd9 together with Graph of Trust (GoT)
PoT focuses on time/continued presence, while Graph of Trust focuses on reputation and verifiable interactions. Together, they form the behavioral model described by the Parallax Network materials. ([https://t.co/Gi6DrIQPgy][1])
Simple example
Think of PoT like a digital attendance record:
Day 1: You join → your participation begins.
Over time:You continue participating your temporal record grows.
Consistent genuine activity: The network gains more evidence that you are a real, persistent participant.
So,PoT is important because Parallax is trying to make "time spent genuinely participating" a meaningful part of network security, identity, and reward distribution.

Hi #cPenNetwork community,
With HATN mining now live and our CPEN buyback-and-burn program continuing (running since the CPEN token launch and automated since July 2026), we want to share where cPen is heading next.
There is a lot we want to build. Below are the priorities we are working toward: what is in development now, what we plan to build next, and our longer-term direction.
🔨 IN DEVELOPMENT NOW
🎮 Web2 Games
We are developing our first Web2 game, a standalone app separate from the cPen app that we plan to promote through the cPen ecosystem.
Revenue generated by the game is intended to become an additional revenue source supporting our buyback-and-burn program.
This is also an experiment in expanding the cPen ecosystem beyond a single app.
AI-assisted development gives our small team new ways to prototype, build and test products more efficiently. If this model works well, we hope to gradually develop more standalone apps across different categories, creating additional utility, experiences and potential revenue sources for the ecosystem.
⏭️ COMING NEXT
🛒 cPen Market
We plan to evolve the current cPen Wall into cPen Market.
The existing Wall experience and your Dan balance will carry forward, while the Market expands what users can discover, promote and eventually sell through the cPen ecosystem.
We plan to begin with digital products and content, such as Mobile apps, books, PDFs, photos and other digital items, and gradually explore physical products over time.
We currently envision two main types of listings:
• Promotional / non-sale listings: use Dan to publish, such as promoting an app, service or project
• Paid products: marketplace fees will apply to transactions
Details about fees, seller eligibility, supported products, marketplace rules and regional availability will be announced before launch.
🔥 Dan
Dan is cPen's internal platform credit. It is not a cryptocurrency and has no cash-out value.
Today, Dan can be spent on Wall posts and can be earned through Burnchase.
As the ecosystem grows, we plan to expand both sides of Dan:
→ More ways to earn Dan
→ More ways to use Dan
Our goal is for Dan to become a useful internal credit connecting different parts of the cPen ecosystem.
🚶 Step Counter
We are exploring a verified step-based feature that could reward eligible users for daily walking.
Our current plan is to support Dan rewards, with the possibility of HATN rewards as well.
Verification and anti-abuse measures will be part of the design so that rewards are based on eligible activity.
Reward rates, eligibility requirements and availability are still being designed and will be announced later.
💬 cStory Social Features
We will continue expanding cStory step by step.
Comments and user-created posts are among the next features we plan to introduce, with the longer-term goal of building a more complete social experience inside cPen.
🌐 LONG-TERM DIRECTION
⛓️ cPen Mainnet
Our current target is to launch the cPen testnet in early 2027 and continue network development throughout 2027.
Over the longer term, our goal is to progressively build more of the cPen ecosystem on the cPen Mainnet.
We have already built several of the core pieces:
✅ Token mining: live
✅ Revenue generation through the cPen platform: live
✅ Token distribution infrastructure: established
✅ CPEN buyback-and-burn: running and now automated
The next stage is about building on that foundation:
→ More useful and enjoyable products for users
→ More utility across the ecosystem
→ More independent revenue sources
→ A broader revenue base supporting buyback-and-burn
→ Progress toward our own blockchain infrastructure
We have built the foundation.
Now we want to scale up and scale out, one product at a time.
Let's build it together.
Thank you for your continued support.

Parallax can be mined from a mobile phone because its mining model is designed to rely primarily on software, network participation, and periodic user verification, rather than intensive hardware computation.
In traditional Proof-of-Work cryptocurrencies, mining requires powerful GPUs or specialized ASIC machines because miners compete to solve computationally difficult mathematical problems. A mobile-based system can work differently:
📱Low computational requirements:The phone mainly runs the mining application and communicates with the network rather than performing massive calculations.
🌐 Network participation:Your device can contribute by maintaining a connection with the Parallax ecosystem and performing tasks required by the protocol.
🔋Lower energy consumption: Because it doesn't require continuous high-performance hashing, mining can consume far less electricity than conventional crypto mining.
🆔 Human/user verification:If Parallax uses mechanisms such as identity or periodic activity verification, the system can focus on proving that a real participant is contributing rather than rewarding raw computing power.
☁️ Network-side processing:Some of the heavier operations can be handled by network infrastructure rather than the user's phone.
So,“mining” on a phone doesn't necessarily mean your phone is solving the same computational problems as a Bitcoin ASIC. It can instead mean participating in a network whose consensus/reward mechanism is specifically designed to make ordinary devices useful.
The exact technical mechanism depends on Parallax's published protocol and implementation; the term mining by itself doesn't prove that the system operates like Bitcoin mining.

🔐 Why privacy matters in Parallax Network
1. Protecting your personal information. Your email, username, location-related information, and other account details can reveal a lot about you. Strong privacy practices reduce the risk of this information being exposed or misused.
2. Protecting your wallet and assets.
In blockchain systems, your public address and transaction activity can potentially reveal financial patterns. Privacy helps reduce unnecessary exposure while still allowing the network to function transparently.
3. Preventing identity theft and impersonation.
If personal information becomes publicly available, attackers may use it for phishing, impersonation, or social-engineering attacks. Keeping sensitive information private makes these attacks harder.
4. Privacy builds trust
People are more likely to participate in a network when they understand what data is collected, why it is collected, and how it is protected. Parallax Network's published policy explicitly addresses data collection and safeguarding.
5. Privacy does not mean hiding everything.
This is an important distinction in blockchain. A network can have transparent transaction rules while still minimizing unnecessary exposure of users' personal information. Parallax's documentation, for example, describes decentralized verification and users being able to operate their own nodes rather than relying entirely on other nodes.
6. It protects the ecosystem as it grows
As more users join, privacy becomes increasingly important. A larger user base means more personal information, more transactions, and potentially more opportunities for malicious actors to target users.
🌐 The simple idea
Think of privacy as the lock on your house. Your house can exist in a neighborhood where everyone knows the houses are there, but that doesn't mean everyone should be able to walk inside and inspect your belongings.
Likewise, a blockchain can provide transparency and verification without unnecessarily exposing people's personal information.
In short: Privacy in Parallax Network is important because it helps protect users, reduce abuse, preserve trust, and support responsible growth of the ecosystem. And importantly, users should always verify Parallax's current privacy policy and technical claims rather than assuming that a blockchain is automatically private.

The Parallax Trust Score is a participation/trust indicator within the Parallax ecosystem. It is intended to help distinguish genuine, consistent human participation from activity that may be artificial, automated, or low quality.
Why is it important?
Builds ecosystem trust
It can help the network assess whether participation comes from real and engaged users.
Rewards consistency
Regular, genuine participation can be more meaningful than simply joining and becoming inactive.
Supports the Human-First approach
Parallax emphasizes people and authentic participation, so a trust mechanism fits that broader philosophy.
May influence future ecosystem benefits.
As Parallax develops its network and planned mechanisms, trust/participation metrics may become relevant to eligibility or other forms of participation. However, you should not assume that a particular Trust Score guarantees rewards or token value unless Parallax officially confirms it.
If your Trust Score hasn't changed
A score remaining unchanged for several days doesn't necessarily mean something is broken. It may reflect how Parallax calculates or periodically updates the score. Check official announcements or support information before concluding that there is a technical problem.
In simple terms:
Trust Score = an indicator of the quality and consistency of your participation, not simply how long you've had an account.

Why Does Parallax Call Itself a Human-First Blockchain
Parallax describes itself as a Human-First Blockchain because its vision goes beyond technology it focuses on making blockchain more accessible, understandable, and useful for everyday people.
What Does “Human-First” Mean?
A human-first approach puts people and their real-world needs at the center of the ecosystem. Instead of designing blockchain only for developers and technical experts, Parallax aims to create an environment where ordinary users can participate with greater confidence.
🔑 Key Ideas Behind the Approach
1. Accessibility
Blockchain should be easier for people to understand and use, regardless of their technical background.
2. Community Participation
Users are not simply observers. A strong decentralized ecosystem depends on people actively participating, contributing, and helping the community grow.
3. Simple User Experience Features such as wallets, network participation, token distribution, and future DApps should ultimately serve practical user needs rather than unnecessary complexity.
4. Trust & Transparency.
A human-first ecosystem should encourage clear communication and help users make informed decisions rather than relying on confusing technical language or hype.
5. Building for the Future Parallax's vision is to develop a broader decentralized ecosystem where technology can support real people, communities, and applications.
🚀 The Bigger Picture
Calling itself Human-First Blockchain communicates an important principle:
Technology should work for people not the other way around.
For me, this is what makes the concept interesting. The success of a blockchain isn't only measured by its technology; it is also measured by how easily people can understand it, participate in it, and find meaningful value in the ecosystem.
Parallax: putting people at the center of decentralized technology.
