We're ready to go today!!!
We are walking to save lives and build healthier communities.
Understanding Sickle Cell is as important as knowing it. Giving blood is a lifesaving obligation.
Blood banks are empty, warriors are waiting!!!
I have today signed the NIMC Act 2026 into law.
For nearly twenty years, Nigeria’s identity system operated under a law written for a different era. That era is over.
This new Act gives our nation a modern, secure and digital identity framework fit for the Nigeria we are building, a Nigeria on the path to becoming a one-trillion-dollar economy.
One of the things nobody tells you about getting older is that your brain changes too.
Names don’t come as quickly as they used to.
You forget where you kept your keys.
You walk into a room and suddenly forget why you went there.
It happens.
The good news is that your brain likes movement and regular exercise keeps your brain active, and may even reduce your risk of dementia.
And no, you don’t need to run.
A daily walk, dancing and even a brisk evening stroll.
Your brain benefits from the movement.
Beyond the war in Iran, it is obvious that the reason price of cooking gas is going off the roof is because of hoarding and sabotage.
I wonder why we can just import.
The idea of protecting a few under the guise of protectionism against the very interest of the people will never make sense to me.
Of what use is the foreign reserve of over $51 billion if we can’t put it into good use?.

My best friend called me this evening around 4 p.m. to say he was having chest pain and sweating profusely. I immediately told him to go straight to the hospital. Fortunately, his neighbour was around and rushed him to a nearby hospital.
Unfortunately, that hospital didn't have an ECG machine, so he had to be taken to another hospital. An ECG was done and, when I saw it, it showed a classic heart attack (Anterior MI).
I requested that they start him on Aspirin while transferring him to the teaching hospital, but sadly, they didn't even have Aspirin available. I then told them to rush him to the state teaching hospital. When he got there safely, they were finally able to start him on Aspirin.
However, they informed his friends and neighbours that they did not have a functioning cath lab that could have helped save his life. While I was trying to arrange for him to be moved to Lagos as quickly as possible, my friend died in the ambulance on the way there. It's about a five-hour trip. I was on the phone with them throughout, and this happened about three hours after they left the teaching hospital.
I was supposed to meet this guy next month in the Netherlands.
Nigeria really did me dirty today. How can an entire state not have a functioning cath lab? How? 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
I'm so broken right now.
Lagos State Government must urgently pass a comprehensive Child Welfare Law that criminalizes the interstate transportation of minors from other states into Lagos to work as domestic servants.
We also need a dedicated, well-publicized hotline, heavily advertised on popular TV stations, to enable victims and witnesses to report abuse and get swift intervention.
The rising cases of violence and cruelty against young children in the state is deeply alarming. If you witness child abuse and fail to report it, you are complicit. Speak up! Protect our children.

Absolutely appalling.
No one should face violence on our streets. The suspect appears to be motivated by anti-Muslim hatred. I will not tolerate this - he will face the full force of the law.
My thoughts are with those who are injured and I thank the police and the emergency services for their response.

So today I came across an image of police officers on patrol inside heavy downpour without raincoats, and it was difficult not to feel for these gallant men who continue to carry out their duties despite challenging conditions.
The Nigeria Police Force has been underfunded and inadequately equipped for many years, yet society often expects it to perform at international standards. Effective policing requires more than high expectations; it demands sustained investment, adequate resources, and institutional support.
Governments at all levels, the private sector, corporate organizations, and philanthropists must play their part in strengthening the Force by providing modern equipment, improved training, better welfare packages, and the tools necessary for officers to perform their duties safely and effectively.
A well-funded, well-equipped and well-motivated police force is critical to enhancing public safety, combating crime, maintaining law and order and safeguarding national security. Those who risk their lives daily to protect others deserve the support and resources necessary to perform their duties with dignity and efficiency.
@valeriannamani@nwaegbe_nkem State Project inside University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Nsukka ? Is the institution owned by the State? Why the propaganda and misinformation in the comments? In February, the FG already highlighted all the new oncology centers launched

As the South East leg of the Renewed Hope National Media Tour continued in Enugu State, participating journalists and stakeholders visited the Federal Ministry of Health’s Oncology Centre at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital.
The facility is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s healthcare infrastructure by expanding access to specialised cancer diagnosis and treatment services. The inspection offered firsthand insight into investments aimed at improving healthcare outcomes and reducing the burden of seeking advanced medical care outside the country.

Recently, an agbéró claimed that he's leaving Islam because bandits & terrorists are in living people. This is funny, especially coming from a motor park lout. Can he tell us how many souls have been gruesomely taken by Lagos area boys? Why didn't he leave agbéró work?
Hello, our distinguished Minister Bosun Tijani, the hardworking Minister of Communications, please, when are we having a 3-digit national emergency number? Just like we have 911 in the US.
Nigeria is giant of Africa, Biko.
