Dear All

🔥 INTENSIFY OUR PROTEST & CAMPAIGN
📅 30th August 2026 | Sunday
⏰ 7:00 AM onwards

[Nilesh Pawar @nilesh_pawar15]

905 days since the 9th Joint Note.
997 days since the December 2023 understanding when 5 Day Banking Promise was agreed in written.
Digital payments are 99.7% of transaction volume. Cheques, 2.3% of value. RBI, LIC & GIC already work five days. And Bankers offered 40 extra minutes a weekday for it. Despite everything they failed to keep the promise. A signed commitment is not a suggestion but an obligation.

Read the revised PLI matrix carefully.
In EVERY scenario — even where the Bank scores above 80% and performed magnificently — the bottom bracket receives Rs 0.
Not a reduced award. Zero!
1 in 5 officers, every year, labelled as zero contributor.
Not an incentive, a backfired initiative. We demand #5DayWeekandFairPLI

[AIBEA: All India Bank Employees' Association @AIBEAofficial]

No Bias.. No Discrimination..
Just Fair PLI..

The 23 May 2015 Joint Note guaranteed Saturdays off, yet bank employees still work far too many weekends unnecessarily. #5DayWeekandFairPLI #AIBOC @PMOIndia https://t.co/MvgEPRgerB

An agreement must be honoured. A reward system must be fair.

#5DayWeekandFairPLI

The 5 Day Work Week for bank employees was agreed in the Bipartite Settlement of March 2024. Its implementation cannot remain pending indefinitely.

At the same time, a unilateral and discriminatory PLI framework that divides the workforce must give way to a fair, transparent and inclusive system for all employees.

Every achievement of our banks is the outcome of collective effort.

Recognition too must reflect that collective contribution.

We seek no privilege, only implementation of an agreed commitment, equality in reward and dignity at work.

@PMOIndia

@aiboc_in An equitable reward system reflects success within bank performance, not in relating it to arbitrary studies of worker output. #5DayWeekandFairPLI #AIBOC @PMOIndia

[All India Bank Officers' Confederation (AIBOC) @aiboc_in]

India’s Bank employees seek two things rooted in fairness and dignity at work.
#5DayWeekandFairPLI
The demand for a 5 Day Work Week in banks is not new. It already stands agreed upon in the Bipartite Settlement of March 2024. What remains is its long-pending implementation.

At the same time, the unilateral and discriminatory PLI system must be abolished and replaced with a fair, transparent and inclusive framework for all employees, recognising the collective effort behind every institution’s performance.

Hardworking bank employees are not asking for privilege. They are asking for implementation of an agreement and equality in reward.

A motivated banking workforce strengthens Indian banking and the nation.

Current PLI incentives compromise the merit of teamwork within banks—unity should amplify reward and not divide. #5DayWeekandFairPLI #AIBOC @PMOIndia https://t.co/MvgEPRgerB

“Insult” wears a payslip today and calls itself PLI.

₹41,000 is a Scale I officer's maximum entire annual PLI. Same bank pays Scale IV almost their annual salary.

“15 days for the branch. 360 days for the chair.”

Pushed through, while the matter sat before the CLC on agreed status quo, and a writ calling it unconstitutional was pending in Delhi HC. Credited anyway.

15 days' pay for running the branch. 360 for running the memo. Nice math, DFS

Thanks for nothing @DFS_India @narendramodi @nsitharamanoffc

[Sreenath Induchoodan @induchoodansree]

They call it “Performance Linked Incentive.” We call it “POSITION Linked Incentive.”

Scale I–III: demonetisation at midnight, Jan Dhan in villages, Mudra, KCC, APY, PMJJBY, one customer, one form, one target at a time. And the reward? 15 days’ pay.

Meanwhile, Scale IV & above can get up to 360 days’ basic pay.

360 vs 15.

If this is “performance,” perhaps the real qualification is simply POSITION.

Same bank. Same targets. Same storm.
But apparently, only some are rowing.
