Happy Birthday Miyabi 丨 Peak Training
"Hey chief, since it's your birthday, why not let us help you update your physical exam data? You could even call it... an 'instant height-boosting training'!"
"Yay, yay! After finishing the training, it's time for some cake, right?"
"You two, stop messing with the chief's ears right now! No wonder she couldn't hear me calling her to the meeting!!"
"... She would've pretended not to hear it anyway..."

@MinuteNerdNews This guy had some pretty entertaining YouTube videos but ever since I discovered his Twitter, he seems more moronic and disingenuous than I could've ever imagined.
Every single tweet is either insufferably incompetent, or willfully erroneous.
So strange and annoying.

@PureLaith@aurelius_de@RulazXp@HenryHarper523 If mutants were already established and largely hated, then yes I can absolutely see where you're coming from. That just isn't the case, and I can't imagine mutants will get thoroughly explored in a Spider-Man movie. So based solely on Jeans possible actions, it doesn't wash.
@PureLaith@aurelius_de@RulazXp@HenryHarper523 This is a hypothetical for an MCU movie. There aren't any known mutants and they are not a hated group (yet). If Jean debuts as a terrorist, and all the public has to go on is "this group has super terrorists", then that justifies their hate, which shouldn't be the case.
@ambr0ga In your hypothetical she's seemingly innocent yet already hated until deciding to fight back.
In OP's hypothetical she's hated due to her terrorism.
There's a distinct difference here.
@ambr0ga It seems as though you forgot the OP I was responding to.
Yes, the specific scenario you suggested is plausible. But that's not what was being said. If she's a terrorist, and if that's why the people hate her, then that's antithetical to her being hated for being a mutant.
@aurelius_de@RulazXp@HenryHarper523 Well no, they're still hated because they're different. Being "dangerous" applies to practically every single character in marvel. That detracts from the point of their struggles.
And in the context of the MCU, that's an even more absurd premise. Everyone is dangerous.
@ambr0ga "fighting back against the oppressors" is not terrorism from an audience's perspective. That would be warranted extremism.
OP suggested she would debut as a legitimate, active terrorist, and that runs antithetical to the idea that she would be hated unjustly.
