Exactly!!
In my opinion and experience,
It's because they jump into bed with the first guy who pursues them, Instead of taking time to get to know different people,
And choose the right guy.
The reason why many men are shutting down this advice,
Is because they have been benefiting from the naivety and limited dating experience of many young girls.
It's rarely the "fast girls" who get pregnant,
It's the so called "good girls" with zero skills to deal with a person who's aggressively chasing them,
Zero skills to vet a guy,
Zero skills to say no to a guy aggressively pushing for sex.
Girls and young women,
Must be advised to take their time and get to know different guys,
Vet them against their expectations, their values, their upbringings, etc.
And then choose the one they are most compatible with,
For a romantic relationship.
Being against this is patriarchal propaganda.
I know dozens of women and girls who regret saving themselves for men who turned out to be garbage.
We don't have a common understanding of the word dating,
So obviously this will hit differently to everyone depending on what you understand dating to mean.
There's a major difference between talking to different people and being in multiple romantic/sexual relationships.
I understand her to be saying you can talk to different people who are interested in getting to know you,
Because you too are getting to know them and deciding whether or not you want to get into a relationship with them.
I think this is great advice for girls because many girls are never taught the tools of vetting the guys who give them attention,
And get into relationships with anyone that gives them attention,
Without taking the time to get to know them and see if you are "equally yoked" before diving into a romantic relationship.
Am I misunderstanding her?
Was she talking about having multiple romantic/sexual relationships,
Or taking the time to hear out and get to know different people?
Please, I'm old and have been "off the market" for years,🙄
Maybe decades even. 😂
Don't come for me!
While visiting VukuZenzele Co-operative in Zvishavane, I noticed this maize storage design. The "granary" is raised off the ground, but what really caught my attention were the cone-shaped metal guards fitted around each supporting pole.
These metal cones act as rat guards. Rats can easily climb vertical poles, but when they reach the smooth, flared metal cone, they can't get past it to reach the maize. It's a chemical-free solution that protects the harvest from rats while allowing good airflow around the stored cobs.
Theatre has the power to preserve our stories and spark important conversations.
If you're in Bulawayo,
Please go and watch "Bazobuya" on 20 & 21 August 2026.
Wishing Mgcini Nyoni and the entire team a successful production.🤗
On 16 July 2026, @netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos cited the South African series “The Polygamist."
Netflix’s shareholder lists the series among its widely viewed Q2 releases.
Sarandos discussed the series while explaining Netflix’s ability to develop local programming that travels globally. He described #ThePolygamist as a “soapy series for South Africa" that had become a major hit in the country and was traveling across the region and internationally.
He said #ThePolygamist had reached 24 million views in five weeks (12 June - 12 July 2026) and was still appearing on Netflix’s charts.

My heart breaks for the bereaved in this tragedy,
They are the remaining victims in this case against Ndodana Tshuma.
Especially the Khumalo family.
I can only imagine how triggered they must be,
To keep reading all your comments sypmathising with the person who murdered their Daughter/sister and their nieces/grandchildren.
Who cares that he's crying?
Who cares about his red eyes?
You are feeling sorry for him?
Talking about he has destroyed "his" life?
He kills 3 people and you are concerned about him?
It's not his life he has destroyed,
His life is just fine.
It's the lives of everyone else involved,
That he has destroyed,
They will never be the same.
Zandile Nothabo MaKhumalo's parents,
Her siblings, cousins, friends, and colleagues,
Her aunts and uncles,
Natalie and Nala's cousins and friends,
That's whose lives he has destroyed.
There's a callousness some of you are displaying in your comments.
Please guys,
I think you should keep your sympathy for him and your understanding to yourselves.
Also,
I pray he's not given the chance to commit suicide,
He must face the consequences of his actions,
Cold as that comfort may be to his victims.
How I see it,
Is there's a time and place for everything.
We have a grieving family among us,
I do not believe this is the time to be pouring sympathy to the perpetrator,
A few days after he has murdered their child and grandchildren.
It is insensitive.
I believe those openly empathising with him,
Are being cruel to the bereaved.
I don't see the perpetrator as an animal or idiot,
I see him as a criminal.
And I think his victims feelings matter and his do not,
Especially not now.
I do not believe for a second he wanted to kill himself,
Because if he wanted to,
He would have.
This is a cold hearted criminal,
Allegedly 🙄
Whose intention after allegedly killing his wife and children,
Was to try and get away with it.
This whole pitiful look is him feeling sorry for himself for getting caught.
Were he even a bit remorseful,
He would have handed himself in.
So many opportunities to do so,
Soon after committing the crimes.
When he landed in Johannesburg.
When he got to Zimbabwe.
When he returned to SA.
God forgive me if I'm misjudging him/ the situation,
But this looks like the face of a person who is only sorry he got caught.
