@Drewokc4@Matty5m413@TheShortBear I'd say if they are about to retire, then their funds should be proportionally out of risk. We are broadly 18% off ath, and that's just from last month. Assuming they are 100% into volatility, they'd be in the exact same position they were less than 11 months ago.
@tmsilverman Be aware of property tax, insurance, and utility costs. In rural areas, internet availability. Factor in immediate need/repair costs. I have more depending on the market area in which this homebuyer is searching.
@elonmusk Having worked there from 2011 through 2014, I didn't see this type of stuff... but I could still tell it was coming. Trainings began to get stupid and I'm glad I was on my way to civilianhood again.
@charliekirk11 For what it's worth, Reddit is largely used by soul-compromised individuals in an echo chamber of misery. They are unhappy people, who should just go unnoticed until that population dissipates. There are a lot of solid folks who work for the government.
