Jamie @AskNationwide. It is now 17.06. I was guaranteed contact by close of business today by Salma. She “escalated” the issue, saying I’d hear within 72 hours. Guess what? Absolutely no contact. How utterly disgraceful! Thoroughly #badcustomerservice. Total incompetence!
Hi Jamie. The average wait on hold with #themortgageworks has been around 1 hour. So far both my solicitor and I have wasted countless hours on hold. I was specifically told they would contact me to save me the wasted time. So I am waiting. Could you @AskNationwide call them?
So 2 1/2 hours to hearing from @AskNationwide or #themortgageworks re my escallated request for a settlement figure; asked for on 20th July. Salsa @AskNationwide said I’d hear by close of business today.
I spoke so Salme @AskNationwide on 30/8 15.01. She ‘escalated’ my request. What does that mean? Well she said someone from #themortgageworks will contact me by 2/9 (close) to advise of “next step”! What does that mean? She said they may able to say when I’ll get the figure!!!!!
Hi Jamie. Both my solicitor have called #themortgaeworks on literally dozens of times. Dates, times & names available. No-one does anything. No one seems interested. Also called @AskNationwide with the same result. Truly #badcustomerservice. Why such incompetence?
My solicitor asked #themortgageworks for a settlement figure on a property on 20th July. Today is 1st September!! It was promised within 20 working days - today is the 30th working day. The company that owns them @AskNationwide seems happy with such #badcustomerservice.
And so day 29 comes to a close (that is 43 days since request for settlement figure submitted). And guess what? NOTHING. No positive reaction from @AskNationwide or #themortgageworks. What #crapcustomerservice. In all my working days i have never come across such #incompetence
Working Day 28 and still waiting! This is scandalous. Woeful customer service #badcustomerservice by #themortgageworks and @AskNationwide Actually woeful not strong enough. Abhorrent, diabolical, incompetent and abysmal. Can anyone add other words to describe this rubbish service
Just spoken to Financial Ombudsman’s office about @AskNationwide and #themortageworks and the disgraceful service they offer. Was given an email address to use which they say should get action. We’ll see. All would be unnecessary if they both offered a service worthy of the name.
Marcus @AskNationwide says he can understand my frustrations in dealing with #themortgageworks. No you can’t Marcus because you don’t know the facts of the case. So don’t insult me by using platitudes.
Just been told by @AskNationwide to contact #themortgageworks. I cannot believe the stupidity of people. What does he we’ve been doing?! Having sat on hold for 10s of hours I don’t have any more time to waste. Why doesn’t he try calling them? Customer service levels are APPALLING

@AskNationwide#themortgageworks Tomorrow i will speak to the Financial Ombudsman and The Times newspaper to explain the appalling lack of customer care, the inefficiency, the inability to stick to their advertised response dates and the financial damage being done to me
@AskNationwide Craig - you are missing the point. The complaint i can deal with later. I need the ROP figure NOW. So someone needs to kick your subsidiary company into action
Still waiting for a figure from #themortgageworks to be able to complete a property sale. Every time you call the company the average wait time is nearly ONE HOUR. Useless customer service @AskNationwide
The last time my solicitor spoke to #themortgageworks to ask for the ROP figure, already beyond the 20 day period they’d promised, the person could give NO INDICATION AT ALL as to when he might get it @AskNationwide . Simply beyond belief that customer care can be so utterly bad
@AskNationwide You must understand i have wasted 10 of hours waiting to speak to someone and then making no progress. I will not do that anymore. If you can get someone WHO CAN HELP to call me all good and fine. Tomorrow i speak to the Financial Ombudsman
Fot the record # themortageworks said they’d get the ROP figure within twenty working days. Today is the 26th working day. What appallingly awful and pathetic service.
@AskNationwide Craig - do you seriously think we (solicitor and I) have not called them? Of course we have - Dozens of times. It’s just that with the absurd ‘on hold’ time and the complete lack of any progress I am not going to waste any more time.
