@Alden_Gonzalez This is correct. It's a deep lineup filled with guys who take professional at-bats. Robert was a perfect high-ceiling complement to the high-floor steadiness of Bichette, Polanco and Semien -- and because of his defense in center field, Robert's floor isn't exactly low, either.

How does baseball fix this? The MLBPA will never agree to a salary cap. A salary floor will accomplish virtually nothing. The Dodgers literally do not give a single shit about the LT or losing draft picks. If you still want to lie to yourself and say any team can do this you’re just flat out wrong.

If you have maintained that the Dodgers are good for baseball, congrats. You get no baseball in 2027 and maybe longer because you kept throwing gasoline on the fire and blaming the firewood for not clawing its way out to survive.
