The issue of overcrowding at Yala National Park has been a growing concern, significantly impacting both the wildlife and the visitor experience. Under the "Clean Sri Lanka" initiative, addressing this challenge is crucial too ! @anuradisanayake

Block One, faces severe overcrowding, primarily due to its fame for having one of the highest leopard densities in the world. This has resulted in chaos, with numerous safari jeeps converging on sightings, leading to both animal disturbance and visitor dissatisfaction. The park's management and the government need to introduce a more stringent visitor management system including limiting the number of vehicles allowed in the park at any given time.
We have to restore the balance of the park's ecosystem while maintaining its allure as a premier wildlife destination.
